With Apex Legends Mobile's highly-anticipated global release now less than a day away, Respawn and EA have already shared plenty of exciting information about the upcoming mobile launch for fans of the battle royale. Recent announcements have revealed that nine of the console and PC version's roster of 21 Legends will be coming to the mobile version initially, as well as confirming the game will launch with the classic World's Edge map. Among the details revealed was something particularly noteworthy about the game, a brand-new Legend exclusive to the mobile version will release alongside the game.

The worldwide release of Apex Legends' mobile version comes after the game has already been available in several smaller regions for testing since February. Respawn recently released its first major patch notes showing off some of the content coming with the mobile launch, featuring the introduction of the Overflow map to the mobile version's Arenas mode as well as QoL features like Team Fill and the addition of an emote system. Now, the launch trailer for Apex Legends Mobile officially introduces the highly-anticipated new Hero set to join the mobile version, Fade.

The newest trailer for Apex Legends Mobile narrated by Mirage introduced fans to the upcoming mobile version, giving players a first look at not only the Legends making the jump to the mobile version but also introducing Fade as the game's first exclusive Legend. Alongside introducing Fade's character model, Apex Legends Mobile also shows off Fade's abilities, with his Tactical, "Flashback" allowing him to shift to a previous position. His Ultimate, Phase Chamber, throws an activator core that phases all players within its radius causing them to be immune to both dealing and taking damage for a few seconds afterwards.

Apex Legends Mobile's newest trailer also introduces the array of game modes players will be able to jump into when the game launches. The mobile version will not only feature classic options from Apex Legends like "Battle Royale" and "3v3", but will also introduce multiple new modes in "Team Deathmatch" and "Quick Battle" giving players faster ways to experience the new mobile-optimized version of the game. Players can still pre-register for the mobile version today before its impending release tomorrow, May 17.

While Apex Legends Mobile gears up for its highly-anticipated release, its PC and console counterpart recently saw the beginning of its thirteenth competitive season with a plethora of changes coming to the game. New changes to Apex Legends' demotion system, further PvE elements added to the game, and the addition of the newest legend in Newcastle among others sparked the game to setting a personal record for Steam player count. Apex Legends Mobile's release will look to further cement the Respawn title as one of the top battle royales in the world.

Apex Legends Mobile will release on May 17 for Android and iOS.
