Apex Legends Mobile has been out for a little bit now, with much of its current meta being currently decided. The game continues to grow, even adding Loba in its recent season update. However, the game has a long way to go before it ever catches up with the base game in terms of content. Apex Legends Mobile obviously isn’t following in the same path, however.

Many of the current Apex Legends characters are not available in the mobile version, but eventually, that’ll be vice versa. It’s been known for some time that Apex Legends Mobile would feature exclusive content, including characters. This was really proven at launch when Apex Legends Mobile added Fade, and now it seems another exclusive character has leaked.

It should be noted that Apex Legends seems to be quite the leaky ship, with several characters being recently leaked for the Apex base game. This included Newcastle ahead of his launch. The newest leak comes way of ThatOneGamingBot, who has been reliable in the past, and he says a new character named DJ, aka Rhapsody, will join the Mobile Roster.

ThatOneGamingBot doesn’t offer an image of Rhapsody but does reveal several in-game cosmetics associated with him, including UI elements, a holospray, and more. The big thing is that it seems Rhapsody will have a robot dog as part of his kit, with it being named Nebula. ThatOneGamingBot compared it to Crypto's drone. Nebula is obviously a canine, but not super realistic, with speakers built into its head.

It’s unknown if they would be the season 2 character or if they are much earlier in development, but based on the name and Nebula’s design, it’s easy to think they may have sound sound-based abilities. In fact, it’s possible that Nebula will be able to distract enemies by making noises or mimicking gunshots—something that sounds familiar to a previously leaked character who was ultimately scrapped. Indeed, messing with audio and noises could be really disorienting and perhaps OP in the base game, but perhaps it’ll be a good fit in the mobile game.

Of course, what Rhapsody’s kit could be remains to be seen. The only real hints come from Nebula and his name, but if he is indeed based on sound and noise, it’ll be interesting to see how he shakes up Apex Legends Mobile’s meta, whenever he releases.

Apex Legends is available now for Mobile, PC, PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
