Mirage mains rejoice. The Holographic Trickster is finally getting a much-needed buff in Apex Legends.
Apex Legends is a fast-paced battle royale that has the unique twist of having special characters with unique abilities. Each Legend can be used in various situations for both individual and team success. But some Legends have seemingly been much weaker characters from the start. Thankfully, one of the weaker Legends is finally getting a buff to enhance his abilities.
In response to the new Season 5: Fortune's Favor trailer many Respawn Entertainment devs have been hopping onto Twitter to answer fans' questions. Jason McCord is a design director at Respawn and works heavily on Apex Legends. One fan asked him if Mirage was finally getting his buff in a few days, when the new season starts, and McCord responded by telling fans that the patch notes will arrive on Tuesday, and Mirage fans should be happy.
Fans have long been claiming that some Legends need to be buffed in Apex Legends. Revenant and Bloodhound are two examples that seemed rather weak, and have since been upgraded by Respawn and are much more viable. Mirage, along with perhaps Octane, has always been the first name mentioned, so now fans will be excited to see how is he improved.
Players will have to wait until the Tuesday patch to see what the changes are for Mirage. Both his Ult and his Passive seemingly need upgrading, but his entire kit may be improved. Once Season 5 goes live, Mirage may be much more a part of the best squad compositions in Apex Legends.
