Season 4 of Apex Legends is just about wrapped up, which means Season 5 is right around the corner. Many fans are extremely excited because that means that a new weapon is on the way, map changes will be coming, and of course, a brand new Legend will be entering the mix of Apex Legends.

Season 4 was extended out a week, meaning Season 5 will begin on May 12. But players won't have to wait quite that long it seems to find out who the next Legend will be. The official Apex Legends Twitter page tweeted out an update, and it looks like the long-awaited Translocating Thief may be who is joining the party.

According to the tweet, fans will be able to tune in on April 30th for a brand new Stories from the Outlands video. The video is entitled Legacy of  Theif, and from everything that fans know so far about Loba, it looks like the stars are aligning that this will indeed be her official reveal.

Loba was first shown in the Season 4 launch trailer, which revealed Revenant. At that point, she was just a child, but Revenant assassinated her parents right in front of her eyes. Fans quickly noticed that the little girl survived, and the father had given her a wolf pendant. Loba translates to she-wolf in Spanish.

It is entirely possible that Loba turned to thievery after her life was thrown into disarray. The image provided by the Apex Legends tweet shows individuals from the high-life looking like they are living it up, setting the stage perfectly for someone like Loba to come in and steal the show. The Stories from the Outlands videos are always super impressive, like the gorgeous Bloodhound short delving into the past. It will be intriguing to see if this new Stories from the Outlands is indeed Loba, as everyone is expecting, and what she has been up to since her horrifying childhood experience.

As far as what else is coming in Season 5, fans may have to wait a bit longer. So far, the developer has teased Titanfall 2 type content, and fans have found hints that point to map changes for Apex Legends. Whether that means small alterations to the maps that are already in place, or if that means a brand new map is yet to be seen.

Apex Legends is available now on PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
