An Apex Legends cosplayer is going viral after sharing her impressive transformation into Loba for Halloween, receiving large amounts of praise from fans of the character. The resemblance to the Catwoman and WWE-inspired support Legend is uncanny.

Introduced back in May during Season 5, the Translocating Thief has quickly become a fan-favorite among Apex Legends fans. The game introduced Loba as only the second dedicated support-type character. The only other support Legend is Lifeline.

The cosplayer, who goes by the moniker "lolidkimjustakitten," created the cosplay for Halloween this year. Fans are already considering the viral Loba as one of the most accurate Apex Legends cosplays ever. The post received well over 28,000 upvotes on Reddit within the first 24 hours of posting to social media.

"Lolidkimjustakitten" has also received hundreds of comments on her attention to detail, therefore causing a frenzy in the battle royale's subreddit. Loba is a support Legend in the game, with a knack for scoping out top-tier loot for her team. Her abilities, which are getting a small buff in Apex Legends' Season 7 update, allow her and her squad to see and gather the best items in the area.

Many of the fans' compliments were praise for all of the cosplay's little details. For example, the accurately made fingerless gloves and knee-high boots. Other aspects also being considered spot-on are Loba's signature eye makeup and hairstyle. This isn't the only cosplay to have recently gone viral, as WWE's Zelina Vega's Loba was found to be extremely impressive, even catching the attention of Apex's developers.

Compared to Legends such as Pathfinder or Wraith, Loba has been somewhat out of the spotlight the past season.  Many people have recently cosplayed as Apex Legends characters, both because of the pandemic and Halloween. Perhaps this viral cosplay may result in even more players using the support character, who was found to be able to glitch under the map.

Apex Legends continues to be one of the most popular titles in the battle royale genre. The quickly approaching seventh season is adding a new Legend along with tweaks to the game's meta, and the addition of Horizon brings the total number of playable characters to 15. However, developer Respawn Entertainment has stated that it wants to "expand beyond battle royale." It should be exciting for fans and cosplayers alike at what that specifically implies for new content (and cosplay inspiration in particular) from the game.

Apex Legends is available now on PC, PS4, and Xbox One, with a Switch version currently in development.
