There are plenty of changes coming to Apex Legends. Season 9: Legacy of Apex Legends is right around the corner, and it will bring a game-altering new mode, a Titanfall-inspired new Legend, a fresh weapon, and much more. Each season of Apex Legends also brings about nerfs and buffs of the characters of the game as well, and this season is no different, as Respawn Entertainment has revealed that Loba's bracelet will undergo big changes.

For quite some time now, Loba has been broken in Apex LegendsWhile her Tactical ability is designed to get her in and out of tight spots with grace and agility, it has been glitched and giving players problems for months. But not only is the bugginess going to be addressed in Season 9 of Apex Legends, the bracelet ability is also going to be buffed.

When Loba was first released for Season 5 of Apex Legends just about a year ago, her abilities worked without fail for the most part. Her Black Market Ultimate allows her to steal loot from the surrounding areas and her Jump Drive bracelet Tactical was ideal as a fast-moving character with cat-like reflexes. But over time the ability started faltering and players noticed that the bracelet would fail regularly. Instead of allowing Loba to teleport to the location that the bracelet landed, the piece of jewelry would fall flat and return, and Loba would be often be caught in dangerous situations.

Respawn Entertainment hinted at fixing Loba's bracelet a few weeks ago, and now it has confirmed changes for Season 9. According to testing, the bracelet was failing about 3-4 times out of every 10 attempts (which was why the community was complaining so much). This has been fixed and now it will fail approximately 1 out of every 100 tries; still not perfect but a massive difference. But that is not all. Loba and her bracelet are also getting a buff.

According to Daniel Klein (lead game designer for Apex Legends), Loba will also have full movement speed while in the air when using the Jump Drive bracelet, giving her much more freedom of movement. Klein says that patch notes do not do this change justice and it is something that players have to feel to truly appreciate. If the change is anywhere near as powerful as what Octane mains felt when he received a double jump and more freedom with his buff a while back, for example, Loba could suddenly be much more useful in the first-person shooter.

Apex Legends is currently available on PC, PlayStation 4, Switch, and Xbox One.
