In Apex Legends, players take on the role of different characters in Respawn Entertainment's spin on the battle-royale genre. After selecting an in-universe "Legend," players work together in groups of three to scavenge for weapons and supplies to battle against up to 20 other teams with the ultimate goal of being the last one standing when the smoke clears. Since its early 2019 release, the game has continued to pump out post-release content in the form of different seasons which introduce new weapons, new cosmetics, new characters, and new maps. To this end, the Christmas event has finally dropped to ring in the holidays as part of Season 3.

Mirage's Holo-Day Bash runs from December 12 to January 7 as the newest limited-time event, adding the limited Winter's Express game mode, exclusive event challenges, and even a double XP weekend to kick things off. To spread the holiday cheer, 24 winter-themed cosmetics will be available for purchase with Apex Coins, found in event packs, or made with crafting metals during the next three-and-a-half weeks. These cosmetics include various weapon skins, voice quips, finishers, and the previously leaked skins which embody the true spirit of Christmas. At the same time, there are other free cosmetics that can be earned by simply playing through the event. Players can obtain one of these legendary weapon skins, the Marching Orders skin for the G7, by partying like Mirage.

Push the Button on the Mirage Voyage

To earn the achievement and skin, players will need to drop on the World's Edge map. For the event, Mirage has parked his party boat, the Mirage Voyage, on the western side of the zone, located below the Lava Fissure. Keep eyes on the sky, as the consistent launching of fireworks is a tell-tale sign that the ship is nearby. After arriving, players need to climb onto the top of the ship where the balcony overlooks the stage and dance floor. Once there, move over to the console which will prompt players to push a button to start the party. Press to accept and kick off the party: complete with a light-show and dancing Mirage holograms. Note that the button has a short cooldown after being pressed and the subsequent display as well as music will surely attract other enemies looking to complete the challenge or gank others trying to do so.

In the end, Apex Legends players can acquire the legendary Marching Orders skin for the G7 fairly easily. Afterwards, pair it with Mirage's new skin to cement his role as centerpiece of the Holo-Day Bash. But after the dance-off, there's still plenty more to do in this event, so players should get cracking.

Apex Legends is available now on PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
