A leak has revealed that Apex Legends will be getting a new event with skins for weapons and characters. While Respawn Entertainment makes adjustments such as fixing the weapon reload bug in Apex Legends, players now have a better idea of the content that will be coming to the current season of the battle royale.Season 15 of Apex Legends started in November and ends in February 2023, making it the longest season of the game for some time. Titled Eclipse, Season 15 brought the new map Broken Moon and the new Legend Catalyst, a new cosmetic type (stickers), and the battle pass that was named "Goth," with rewards such as new skins for Ash, Revenant, Catalyst, Seer, and Loba. Because it's a long season, there is an expectation that Apex Legends will release a lot of content to keep players engaged. And a leak released on social media points out that Apex Legends is doing just that by preparing a new event for its audience.RELATED: Apex Legends Player Designs New Passive Abilities for Each ClassAccording to information leaked by dataminer Senos on their Twitter, Apex Legends will launch the event named Magic Witch with skins for various weapons, including the RE45, Sentinel, Devotion, and Rampage, whose artwork was leaked on their profile. The dataminer, who is well-known in the Apex Legends community, also revealed that characters will receive epic skins as part of the event, although images have not been revealed at this time. In another leak released in August, Senos revealed that the epic skins will be for Ash, Lifeline, Revenant, Valkyrie, and Rampart, who was recently involved in an invincibility bug in Apex Legends.

As usually happens with leaks, the information released by Senos is subject to change and should be taken with a pinch of salt. Apex Legends is no stranger to leaks, and this year leakers have released various information related to the game such as the potential heirloom of the Seer in Apex Legends, and information from the Beast of Prey Collection event. The leakers also revealed Halloween skins and the possibility of Apex Legends getting a game mode like Call of Duty's Gun Game.

With Season 15 of Apex Legends available Respawn has already brought some new features such as the first Prime Gaming bundle of the season. Through it, players can get nature-inspired skin for Catalyst and other cosmetic items. Catalyst, by the way, is the focus of attention this season for setting a historical precedent for being the first trans character in Apex Legends. For players hoping for matchmaking improvements, fear not: the skill-based matchmaking system (SBMM) of Apex Legends will be reworked, which may bring some hope to the game's community that often criticizes the system.

Apex Legends is available now on PC, PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S
