Apex Legends players have had to deal with a lot over the past season. While the battle royale has remained one of the most popular titles in the industry, various unresolved bugs, along with complaints about Kings Canyon, have hampered the competitive experience for many. Recently, players have uncovered yet another potentially game-breaking glitch.

As a team game, one of the most pivotal mechanics in Apex Legends is the ability to revive fallen allies. The developers have even designed certain Legends with special abilities to more easily revive squadmates. Some of these characters include Lifeline with her Combat Medic ability, Mirage with his cloaking mechanism, and Gibraltar when using his Dome of Protection. With many teams picking these Legends to give them an edge in battle, finishing off knocked opponents can sometimes prove difficult. However, a recent bug is making it even harder for some players.

Recently, players began reporting problems with the revive mechanic in Apex Legends. According to gamers, the bug caused downed players in the process of being revived to become invincible. The specifics of the bug were seen in a video posted on Twitter by Alpha Intel. In the clip, a Wraith player moved in to finish a kill at Capacitor on Kings Canyon. After moving to the top of the building, they rounded a crate and saw an enemy player being revived. Immediately, the Wraith player began opening fire on the enemy, but in a strange turn of events, no damage was registered. The enemy player was able to finish the revive, even while being peppered by bullets.

While the player was eventually able to finish off the enemy team, this invincibility bug made the situation much closer than it should have been. This glitch is no doubt concerning to many Apex Legends players, as it removes part of the competitive integrity from the game. Unfortunately, the reason behind the bug is unknown at this point in time.

This is just one of many issues players have faced in Season 10 of Apex Legends. Besides this invincibility bug, issues with animated Epic banner poses have caused many players’ games to crash. The problem became so prevalent that Respawn recently made an in-game announcement, advising players to unequip all Epic poses until the glitch had been resolved.

It will be interesting to see if the developers are able to fix the bugs that are impacting the battle royale. Hopefully, the necessary changes come soon, as the launch of Season 11 of Apex Legends is just over a week away.

Apex Legends is available now for PC, PS4, Switch, and Xbox One.
