Season 7: Ascension has brought many new pieces of content to Respawn Entertainment's popular battle royale game: Apex Legends. While some players have been spending their time wowed with Olympus, the game's third map, others have been diving deep into learning how to play as the latest legend, Horizon. However, one player appears to have passively dug a little too deep, discovering a weird yet amusing glitch for the character.

Reddit user fishmower took to the Apex Legends subreddit to show off this new glitch with a video. In the video, players can see as fishmower drops from the dropship as Horizon, however, rather than landing the character maintains their diving pose as if they were still skydiving. The Reddit user posted the clip with the caption, "Introducing Horizon's new passive ability..."

The video clip has been met with many hilarious comments on Reddit. One player even went as far as calling the character "Horizon-tal," mocking the character's odd pose. Others commented "Another soft landing!" seemingly poking fun at Horizon's chattiness throughout the game. And while there are several comment cracking jokes about this Apex Legends glitch, there are very few, if any, negative comments about the game or its developer.

This isn't the only bug that's been found in Apex Legends since Season 7 was introduced. Season 7 brought a new change to the game's battle pass, but apparently it also introduced a devastating glitch. Players found that they would lose all star progress for their Apex Legends battle pass on a weekly basis. Naturally, this issue was met by many unhappy players who took to social media to raise their complaints at Respawn Entertainment.

However, it’s not all bad news for Apex Legends players. Respawn Entertainment seems to be diligently working on issues like the bugged battle pass, resolving it quickly. And, as an apology for all of its players’ lost progress, has turned on double experience until this coming week’s patch. And while players shouldn’t expect anything like double experience for this Horizon glitch, it does seem like an issue that will be resolved by Respawn as quickly as possible.

Respawn’s dedication to its player base seems to have proven quite beneficial to EA. Recently, EA announced in an earnings call that Apex Legends was on track to make $1 billion by March 2021. And while some may say this has to do with the game’s lootbox mechanics, others might say this from the team at Respawn doing a great job with catering to its fan base.

Apex Legends is available now on PC, PS4, and Xbox One, with a Switch version also in development.
