Season 7 of the popular battle royale title Apex Legends is packed full of new content and entertaining lore. Season 7 introduced the Olympus map and one of the most entertaining characters yet, Dr. Mary Somers, otherwise known as Horizon. The Season 7 legend has extremely useful abilities with her Grav Lift tactical and her Black Hole ultimate ability. Besides an impressive repertoire of abilities, Horizon also delivers some of the best voice lines in the game, voiced by actress Elle Newlands.

Elle Newlands has shown off even more talent with an incredible cosplay of her own character. Horizon is known for her thick Scottish accent, with perfect lines that combines English with a few Scottish phrases delivered by Elle Newlands such as, "Ach, dinnae fash yersel. 'Cause I’m the best. Got N.E.W.T. on my side!" Horizon always seems to have the some of the most upbeat and entertaining lines in Apex Legends, but her appearance also makes her stand out as well.

The gravitational manipulator Horizon's default outfit features her signature curly red hair with a pair of goggles on her forehead. Voice actress Elle Newlands shared a headshot of her cosplay complete with the perfect hairdo and the goggles to match. Elle Newlands also sports blue contacts and a pen that Horizon is often depicted with. Newlands shares on Twitter that the inspiration for the cosplay came from principal animator for Apex Legends Moy Parra, who asked Newlands to draw Horizon, but instead received an amazing cosplay that could fit right into a live-action Apex Legends film.

Horizon quickly became one of the most popular characters in Apex Legends and has led to some impressive cosplays being shared by fans. One extremely detailed Horizon cosplay even got the attention of voice actress Elle Newlands, who gave a shoutout to the fan. As Season 7 goes on, many more cosplays of Horizon may pop up, especially with Elle Newlands joining the fun.

With Season 7 crossing the midway point with the special event, the Fight Night Collection, Horizon has received her first nerf, which was quickly added the day of the event due to the decision to remove a Caustic buff that angered much of the Apex Legends community. Horizon's nerf changes her Grav Lift ability cooldown from 16 seconds to 21 seconds, which players do not seem to have an issue with.

The Fight Night Collection Event adds many new limited-time cosmetics, a LTM mode called Airdrop Escalation, and a Pathfinder Town Takeover, which features an melee-only boxing ring. The event also adds Gibraltar's heirloom, making Bangalore the last original legend without an heirloom. It will be exciting to see what the rest of the legends' heirlooms will be, as developers can get very creative with the designs.

Apex Legends is out now for PC, PS4, and Xbox One, with a Switch version also in development.
