Right now, all of Apex Legends' players have their attention squarely on the upcoming Season 7, which is starting on November 4. The new season will come with a new map, Olympus, a new vehicle called the Trident Hovercar and, of course, a new playable Legend named Horizon.

The team at Respawn, however, are always a few steps ahead in terms of development and plans. In a recent interview, director Chad Grenier revealed that the team has content planned all the way until Season 12, and it appears that among those plans is another Holo-Day Bash event.

As a reminder, the Holo-Day Bash was a Christmas-themed event held last December and included a limited-time mode and exclusive themed items/cosmetics to help Apex Legends players celebrate the season.

While it was probably a safe bet that it would be brought back for this year too, it hasn't been officially confirmed by Respawn. However, certain players have been able to try out Season 7 early and one of them spotted what are unambiguously Holo-Day Bash badges which can be earned.

Another tweet reveals what appears to be a Holo-Day holospray. Though the image is slightly blurry, due to the primary focus being on the Horizon one, the words "Happy Holidays" can be made out.

Though things to point towards the Holo-Day Bash coming back, the question now is what will it involve? Will it simply be a re-tread of the previous one or will Respawn do something new with it? The original one had a Town Takeover event centered around Mirage, which turned the train into a holiday boat instead.

While it most certainly will add new Christmas items and cosmetics, especially for any characters have been added to the game since the last one like Horizon and Rampart, Respawn could do another Town Takeover for a different character, though who that character could be is anyone's guess.

Regardless, players still have to get through Season 7 first, which is already looking to dramatically shake up the formula. Horizon's inclusion alone brings anti-gravity to Apex Legends, with her abilities including allowing her to manipulate her movement in the air. She also has a gadget that lets her lift other players into the air.

Season 7 will also coincide with the game's release on Steam, giving PC players an alternative way to play and allowing new players to join. Unfortunately, the promised Nintendo Switch version has had to be delayed until some time next year.

Apex Legends is available on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One, with a Switch version also in development.
