Season 13 of Apex Legends has almost been out for a week now, and players have been enjoying numerous aspects of the game. For instance, the new Legend Newcastle provides a solid option for players that want to help support their squads during skirmishes. However, as with every season of the popular battle royale, some glitches have been discovered, and one, in particular, has to do with movement.

While there are a number of things that make the gameplay of Apex Legends exciting, movement is one of the most integral parts of the experience. The squad with better positioning and movement during a fight will often come out on top. While some Legends have specific abilities that allow them to travel through the air at high speeds, such as Valkyrie or Octane, a new glitch has made it possible for every character to do this for an unlimited amount of time.

Recently, Apex Legends fans discovered an unusual bug pertaining to movement in the battle royale. Specifically, this glitch lets players fly around in the air at high speeds. Not long ago, an Apex Legends content creator known as Dirty Skirty on YouTube showed the glitch in action. In a collection of clips shared by the YouTuber, they revealed players hovering in the air near a Trident.

In addition to showing the glitch in action, Dirty Skirty explained in the video the relatively complicated process required to activate the flying bug. According to the YouTuber, players need a Trident, a Replicator, and a weapon in Apex Legends to pull off the in-game bug. Apparently, gamers need to glitch inside the Trident while it is parked near a Replicator. Once this is accomplished, they can use the surrounding terrain to glitch into the sky. They can then hover in the air indefinitely and move around at surprisingly high speeds.

It is worth pointing out that Dirty Skirty claimed that this new glitch is likely ineffective in matches as it can be challenging to control. Based on comments from the content creator, levitating players cannot move while in the air. Instead, it is the person driving the Trident that is in control. In addition, anyone attempting the flying bug in Ranked lobbies in Apex Legends could run the risk of getting their account banned in the process. Time will tell if the developers at Respawn Entertainment decide to patch this glitch out of the battle royale in the future.

While this flying bug in Apex Legends is noteworthy, it is far from the only news regarding the latest season of the game. For example, players recently discovered several interactions between Newcastle and Bangalore. These included one that happened in the prematch lobby and another that took place when Newcastle performed a finisher animation on Bangalore. It will be interesting to see what other secrets and bugs are discovered in Season 13 of Apex Legends in the weeks ahead.

Apex Legends is available on PC, PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X. Apex Legends Mobile releases May 17.
