Apex Legends' upcoming Fight Night event has a lot of eyes on Pathfinder, especially after Apex's latest Stories from the Outlands video. This new Collection event hasn't been dated yet, but it'll likely work like past events. This means players will be able to unlock new skins and cosmetics, while also running around Pathfinder's Town Takeover.

Indeed, this Town Takeover will be the first on Apex Legends' Olympus map and is designed around Pathfinder (which is already being teased on the map). While that may be enough to keep fans' attentions, one Redditor, mertTUTER, has gone a step further, comparing Pathfinder's new skin to Dick Tracy.

For those unfamiliar, Dick Tracy is a hard-boiled detective born from a 1930s comic strip (and later receiving a movie adaptation in 1990). Immediately, the comparisons are obvious between the two, as both wear the same style of fedora, trenchcoat, and so on. Pathfinder even sports a similar looking tie, but at the very least, it should be noted that this particular style is common to detectives. For Pathfinder and Dick Tracy, though, it is oddly specific.

Of course, this is all in good fun and it would be far from the first comparison made. One of Wraith's skins looks like it's pulled from Destiny 2, for example, but it's all unique in and of itself. Now, for fans interested in this Pathfinder skin, they just need to wait and see how and when the Collection event unfolds.

Apex Legends is out now for PC, PS4, and Xbox One, with a Switch version also in development.
