The smoke launchers that Bangalore carries on her waistband in Apex Legends provide a great getaway tool when the firefight gets out of hand. It turns out that if you're desperate enough and out of ammunition they can also be used as weapons.
Shooting one directly at an enemy will deal 10 points of damage upon contact. That's not a great amount, but in the right situation, it could make the difference between life and death. They're also great fun when shooting them from a distance and arching your shot.
9 Her Voice
Erica Lattrell is the woman responsible for bringing the experienced and tough-nosed soldier Bangalore to life. Lattrell has seen some great success in her career with some of her most prominent roles coming in the world of animation.
She most notably has lent her talents to voice Simone from As Told By Ginger, Sapphire from Steven Universe, and Acxa from Voltron: Legendary Defender. Her IMDb page is full of roles so look for her to likely appear in your next favorite video game or animated show.

Her callsign may be Bangalore, but the veteran soldier is known in her day-to-day life as Anita Williams. Not only does Anita go by an interesting nickname, but she also was assigned a number by the IMC Armed Forces. Her official identification number is 40138416, but it seems taht the name Bangalore rolls off the tongue a little easier.
It's unclear whether her first name Anita is a reference to anything, but her last name Williams is a pretty common name for people of both European and African descent.
7 Top Of Her Class
Like the rest of her family, Bangalore attended the IMC Military Academy and eventually graduated into the field. Bangalore didn't simply go through the motions, she wanted to be the best at what she did and was the top of her class during her training.
There are numerous stories about her feats at the academy and many of them involve the firearms she became familiar with on a daily basis. It should come as no surprise that the soldier with formal training is the most prepared legend in the Apex Games.
6 Quick Reflexes
If you've played in the Apex Games, then you're clearly familiar with the top-tier shotgun in the game called the Peacemaker. Well, it turns out Bangalore is pretty familiar with the weaponry herself. During her time at the IMC Military Academy, she could take apart a Peacekeeper, put a precision chock hop-up on it, and put it back together in under 20 seconds.
Oh, forgot to mention that she would do the whole thing while blindfolded. No one will ever be as familiar with a Peacekeeper as Bangalore.
5 Ultimate Sacrifice
A later entry will discuss Bangalore's family and how they were all a part of the military, but this is specifically about her brother Jackson. There was a mission where she and her brother were to retrieve a fleet of mercenaries in the Outlands, that in turn would help the IMC in fighting against the Frontier Militia.
It turned out to be a trap as they were attacked upon arriving and to give his sister more time to escape, Jackson stayed back to distract the enemy. Now she's stranded and alone, looking for a way back home.
4 They've Met?
The Syndicate is a shady and mysterious organization who not only runs the Apex Games but is rumored to be the ones who rule a specific part of the Frontier called The Outlands. Since the days of the Frontier War, the Syndicate has been praised for apparently bringing life and order back to the Outlands after the Frontier was devastated.
There's also a rumor that Bangalore has come face-to-face with the Syndicate and is one of a few living souls who know who they are and what they look like.
3 Who She Hates
Have you ever been competing in the Apex Games and wondered what those giant flying creatures were? Well, those things are called Flyers and it turns out Bangalore hates them. This is more than likely a callback to the first Titanfall game where-in IMC soldiers could be seen getting forcibly captured by Flyers and taken away.
Bangalore is a veteran of the IMC so it's likely that she's seen a soldier or two get captured by them. Thankfully they weren't responsible for what happened to her brother Jackson.
2 Why She Competes
Bangalore is currently stranded on Solace and is simply looking to earn enough money to get back home to the IMC home base. All she wants is the ability to reunite with what's left of her family. Out of all of the legends who are competing in the Apex Games it's hard to find someone with a more understandable cause.
Imagine giving it your everything to help protect people who don't even know you're fighting for them to end up stranded on a planet with absolutely no resources at your disposal.
1 It's In The Family
Bangalore was born and raised into a military family. Not only did her parents also serve, but each of her 4 older brothers also signed up and fought for the IMC Armed Forces. Like previously mentioned she, unfortunately, lost her brother Jackson during a mission in which he sacrificed himself to help Bangalore get away.
It's hard enough for families when they have to deal with a member of it passing away, but in Bangalore's family, they all served. With everyone on active duty, it's hard to find time to bond.
