Respawn Entertainment has cooked up a fresh new batch of content for Apex Legends fans to enjoy with Season 9. While these changes have made many improvements, there are still plenty of problems with Apex Legends that fans have issues with. This is something that Respawn Entertainment is working diligently to fix.

One of these issues that are concerning the fans is the growing amount of hackers during online matches. As many are aware, these people can ruin any gamer's mood and excitement for a hard-fought match. And while Respawn has countered cheaters in the past, the problem still persists today and continues to deter gamers from playing.

Now, Respawn has taken to Twitter to announce the companies newest changes it will implement in its ongoing battle against Apex Legends hackers. Among these changes, Respawn's first initiative is to hire more workers solely dedicated to manually banning accounts that break the game rules.

Two other ways Respawn is fighting against online hackers is by creating more tools to also automatically detect when people are cheating and put an end to DDOS attacks. For people who do not know, DDOS attacks are a distributed denial-of-service hacking method that aims to flood the servers to full capacity and prevent it from working properly. Additionally, Respawn will also investigate more ways to catch hackers quickly and remove them straight from the games.

Many fans have replied to these comments praising Respawn for taking a stance against this issue, with some even asking to apply for the hacker-banning taskforce position. Others have taken a more critical response, stating that there are plenty of other problems with the game that need to be fixed, such as audio glitches and lack of an upgrade for next-generation consoles. Other users also pointed out how Respawn's automatic anti-hacking systems have been problematic and banned accounts it thought were cheating when they never did anything wrong.

Respawn ends the tweet with a reply stating it knows that playing against cheaters can be frustrating and that it will keep its fans updated as the company installs these new changes and researches up new ones. While the response to this announcement has been mixed, it is good to see that Respawn is at least trying to listen to its audience and make the game better for everyone. While the problem of online hackers may never be completely fixed, it is important that companies keep striving to make its games a fair and balanced platform for the consumers putting money into it.
