Over the past 11 seasons, Apex Legends has seen its roster of playable Legends grow substantially. While there were only eight characters at launch, there are now a whopping 19 in the battle royale. Many of these Legends have become well-liked by the Apex Legends community, but few have enjoyed the same level of sustained popularity as Wraith.

There is a reason Wraith is one of the most well-known characters in Apex Legends, as her kit allows her team to reposition during a fight. Among her impressive abilities, she can use her Ultimate, Dimensional Rift, to create a portal between two spots on the battlefield. Using this Ultimate, she can allow her team to safely reposition when stuck in a difficult situation. Unfortunately, a problem with this ability has arisen that threatens to ruin the battle royale for those that enjoy playing as the popular Legend.

Recently, players have been running into a new glitch that makes Wraith’s Ultimate ability disappear while playing on World’s Edge. Specifically, the bug appears to happen near walls at the Harvester location. Fortunately for players, Respawn Entertainment is aware of the situation. According to the developer, the issue is currently being investigated. While an exact time to expect a patch for the frustrating bug was not given, it could arrive next month around the start of Season 12 of Apex Legends.

These disappearing portals are doubtlessly concerning for many Wraith mains as the second Ranked split for Apex Legends is on World’s Edge. Even though the issue happens most frequently around the Harvester location, this POI is centrally located, making it sometimes impossible to avoid. In addition, this glitch impacts a large number of players since Wraith is tied with Octane as the highest-picked Legend in the game at 12.5%. Unfortunately, it seems likely that some players could meet an untimely death due to this bug as Wraith's Ultimate can mean the difference between winning and losing a fight.

Unfortunately, this is not the only issue impacting the game of late. Besides this portal bug, many players have claimed that the Sentinel is still broken even after a recent patch. While the weapon no longer has infinite charge, the charge timer for the gun is incorrect. As a result, this inaccurate reading can cause players to unintentionally cancel the charging process of the weapon by scoping in or shooting.

It will be interesting to see how the developers at Respawn Entertainment address these bugs impacting Apex Legends. Hopefully, a solution is found soon so that players can continue to use Wraith in the days ahead.

Apex Legends is available now for PC, PS4, Switch, and Xbox One.
