Apex Legends fans have been enjoying the new Lost Treasures Collection Event update to the game, even though it introduced a few issues. Last week, Respawn has acknowledged the next set of bugs it is ready to tackle in upcoming patches for

Respawn’s Community Coordinator, Garza (A.K.A. @r3c0n54 on Twitter) keeps a public record on the bugs and issues the Apex Legends developer are aware of and working on using the website Trello. The issues are marked as either under investigation or ready to be released, and whether the issues will need to be fixed by releasing a patch for players to download or updating the Apex servers.

On June 25, Garza added several issues that have cropped up since the release of the Lost Treasures Collection Event update. Some of the issues are minor quality of life bugs like there being a buzzing noise during gameplay, a player’s music choice not being saved, and players being given too much time to collect a treasure pack which keeps them from being able to get the next one. Other issues though are a little bit of a bigger deal. Below the image are the issues that Respawn plans to fix in upcoming patches:

  • Octane is not able to activate his tactical stim while aiming down sights of his weapon
  • Wraith is able to fire her weapon when knocked down
  • Octane can move at normal running speed if he uses his tactical while healing
  • Wraith’s new Marble Goddess skin does not take headshot damage
  • Caustic’s gas is preventing players from being able to revive teammates or self-revive
  • If Revenant’s Death Protection ultimate wears off during a revive, it cancels the revive
  • If a player is killed while under Death Protection when hanging on walls or ziplines, they are not sent back to the death totem

Some of these issues are creating some very unfair scenarios, like Wraith being able to shoot while downed or Caustic’s gas preventing revives. Many thought that Octane being able to move faster while healing was a part of the string of buffs he received as part of the Lost Treasures Collection Event update. The issues with Death Protection must stem from the change Respawn made to remove the distance limit on it. Wraith’s new Marble Goddess skin is partially fixed, as Respawn was able to revert the hitbox to her default state using a server-side change, but a full fix will assumedly come in the next patch.

It is important to note that no one from Respawn has announced a release date for the next patch, and there is not confirmation that all of these issues will be fixed on the very next patch. But Apex Legends players can at least rest easy knowing that Respawn is on the case.

The Lost Treasures Event is still going on in Apex until July 7. There are plenty of great ancient treasure themed cosmetics available, as well as Mirage’s new hilarious heirloom weapon. The accompanying Limited Time Mode, Armed and Dangerous Evolved, features only sniper rifles, shotguns, evo-shields, and the new mobile respawn beacon.

Apex Legends is free-to-play on PC, PS4, and Xbox One, with a Switch version coming this fall.
