When Apex Legends season 5 rolled around, one of the most impressive introduction was Mirage's buff. Not only did it influenced how his clones work, but the fact that he now goes invisible when he's reviving an ally is a game-changer. As such, many have been calling for several other legends to get reworks.
Among these are characters like Lifeline, Octane, Crypto, and more. Now, with the upcoming Apex Legends Lost Treasures Event, it seems Respawn Entertainment is bridging that divide. No characters are getting re-worked yet, but players should expect significant buffs for Octane and others.
As seen below, Apex Legends' Design Director McCord confirms Octane is getting "some buffs." The trailer for the upcoming event already confirmed Lifeline's buff and the fact that she'll be able to revive two players at once, which could change up an entire fight. Octane's buffs have yet to be revealed, but it's possible it's on par with Lifeline at least.
Apex Legends season 5 is still underway and the event is just not the next step. Plenty more content is on the way, including bigger and better buffs around down the road, and more.
