Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania is coming to theaters next month, meaning movie theater chains across the globe are starting to publish information such as the film’s runtime, which will make Ant-Man 3 the little guy’s longest adventure yet.

Fresh off the release of an exciting second trailer, Marvel Studios' Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania is one of 2023’s most eagerly anticipated sequels because it will kick off the MCU's Phase Five and introduce a new menacing villain in Kang the Conqueror. So, how much screen time will Jonathan Majors and Paul Rudd have in Ant-Man 3? Well, according to this leak, Ant-Man 3 would sit on the middle of the road for Marvel Studios flicks, though it is still a bit on the shorter end for recent times

In this case, the supposed Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania runtime comes courtesy of Fandango's ticketing services. The site lists the movie as 2 hours and 5 minutes long, compared to Scott Lang's first couple of solo films that both clock in at just under two hours. While that length is about average for Marve Studios' entire cinematic history, it will still make Ant-Man 3 the second shortest MCU entry since 2019.

This Ant-Man sequel would only be surpassed by Thor: Love and Thunder on that metric. However, it barely beats Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness' 2 hours and 6 minutes for that second-place spot. Particularly, Phase Four's last movie, Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, was the second-longest overall, only behind Avengers: Endgame, which does match the trend that began in 2018 as superhero movies got bigger in every sense.

Until now, Ant-Man movies were among the few MCU movies that were under 2 hours long (6 in total), but with the massive setup work Quantumania is tasked with ahead of the Kang Dynasty and Secret Wars stories, it’s clear why that had to change. So far, Kang looks like a force to be reckoned with in Ant-Man 3, and the trailer is not shy to suggest Scott might not make it out of the Quantum Realm at all, or at least not alive.

Besides getting a proper look at Kang's Doctor Doom or Iron Man-inspired armor, his powers, and Majors' combat skills, the second Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania trailer also teased the arrival of MODOK, one of Marvel Comics' most beloved and unique villains.

Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania will release in theaters on February 17, 2023.
