Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania's red carpet premiere was held in Los Angeles, with many critics dropping their first impressions online shortly after. However, Marvel fans will be pleased to know Ant-Man 3 has two major post-credits scenes waiting for them in theaters.

While the first wave of impressions for Ant-Man 3 does not include any spoilers, given that the MCU's review embargo won’t be lifted until next week, the comments seem to favor the film as a solid start for Phase Five. Among the highlights is praise for the movie's villain Kang the Conqueror, played by Jonathan Majors, and a common theme of comparing Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania to Star Wars.

Among the ones who revealed the total number of Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania post-credits scenes was Collider's Steven Weintraub, who said there are “2 after the credits scenes and both are very good.” Nevertheless, there’s no clue as to what these two teasers might include. Similarly, Fico Cangiano from CineXpress also labeled the extra footage as “cool,” however, attendees to the early screening refrained from sharing details about what or who the two scenes feature.

Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, the last MCU movie to come out in Phase Four, only included one post-credits teaser that revealed the young Touissant, a.k.a T'Challa II. Producers mentioned the decision to limit teasers to a single one was partly due to themes surrounding the movie. Conversely, Ant-Man 3 is meant to kickstart Phase Five, meaning whatever outcome from Scott Lang and Kang's fight is bound to have instant repercussions.

One of the questions Marvel fans will have heading into Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania is whether this is the end of the road for Paul Rudd as Ant-Man since Kang is such a fearsome villain and the tone of some trailers picture him and Cassie as if they’re running out of time. Despite The Marvels being the next MCU flick after Quantumania, Majors is bound to appear in Loki season 2, which could come out before Carol Danvers' sequel.

Loki is already rumored to include several Kang variants in its second season, so perhaps there’s a chance Tom Hiddleston shows up in Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania. In any case, several Marvel post-credits scenes have yet to pay off, so expect Quantumania to increase those numbers.

Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania will release in theaters on February 17, 2023.
