Ant-Man and the Wasp Quantumania is currently in post-production and fans can't wait to see what comes of the film. Now, a cast and crew gift for the film has revealed the first assumed-to-be-official look at Jonathan Majors as Kang the Conqueror.

The merchandise given to the Ant-Man 3 crew is far from the first example of such gifts spoiling certain aspects of the plot for these comic book films. A little while back, fans were given a new look at Scarlet Witch in Doctor Strange 2 when a crew hat featuring the cast of characters from the film surfaced online.

The Ant-Man 3 merch features the titular heroes helmet, but it is almost entirely cracked on the right side. On the left side of the helmet, Kang can be seen in the reflection starring back with a menacing look. Kang the Conqueror will no doubt be the biggest threat that Ant-Man and the Wasp have both faced, as the character is way beyond the power levels of their two previous foes. This isn't an official release from Marvel Studios by any means and while there is no confirmation that this Kang design will be used in the final cut of Ant-Man 3, the character does have a very comic-accurate look on the merchandise.

Majors made his first appearance as Kang in Loki, although this version of the character (known as He Who Remains) was more eccentric and enthusiastically energetic than his sinister counterparts. The first season of Loki concluded with He Who Remains being killed by Sylvie, but not before warning her and Loki that his death would open to door for his less lenient variants to wreak havoc on the multiverse. Majors has delivered on the roles that he has played and he is an incredible actor, so Marvel Studios having him in Ant-Man 3 is something that fans should definitely look forward to, as the actor is very likely to deliver on the expectations.

Many fans want Kang to be the "big bad" of the current phase of Marvel Studios movies, while others want to skip right away to Galactus. With that being said, it's safe to assume that the Ant-Man 3 merch gives fans an accurate idea of what they can expect when the movie hits theaters in the summer of 2023. Hopefully, the payoff for the villain's cinematic debut is worth the hype.

Marvel has been having a villain problem where they kill off a baddie after introducing them in the same movie. Some of the villains would be better served by being involved in multiple movies, with Loki being a perfect example. Imagine if Loki died in Avengers and wasn't around for the highly successful television show, the Thor sequels, and the Avengers movies. If Kang is brought to the MCU story in Ant-Man 3, then he should be kept around for a little bit longer so veteran fans and newcomers don't forget about him and he's not wasted.

Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania is scheduled to be released in theaters on July 28, 2023.
