As many BioWare fans know, November 7 (N7) is a special "holiday" tied in with the beloved Mass Effect franchise. Even if the latest entry left a sour taste in some mouths, it is still a day whereupon many look to BioWare for something special. In addition to revealing Xbox One support for Mass Effect Andromeda, Anthem Lead Producer Michael Gamble showcased that online-only multiplayer action RPG also celebrates this beloved day by showcasing the Interceptor Javelin.

However, this wasn't a standard Interceptor from the shared world of Anthem but one with a unique design. Posted on Twitter, this Interceptor wore the exact color pattern and armor associated with Mass Effect's standard N7 armor, stating that the holiday was even celebrated in Fort Tarsis too. Check it out below:

Of course, the comments were flooded with fans claiming to know what skin they will be using throughout the game, and given the popularity of Mass Effect, it certainly makes sense. Other fans were also clamoring for a remaster of the original Mass Effect trilogy, which has been demanded by fans for quite some time.

Still, for those worried that any further installments of Dragon Age or Mass Effect would play more like Anthem, it's worth mentioning that BioWare general manager Casey Hudson has clarified that Anthem would not influence the design of other franchises. For gamers who are not really a fan of shared-world games, this is likely some relief.

Nevertheless, it's unknown if this skin will only be applicable to the Interceptor Javelin or also available to other Javelins such as the Storm. Although Anthem's release is still some time off, it'll be interesting to see how it differs from other BioWare franchises.

Anthem is currently scheduled to launch on February 22, 2019 for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
