Anthem may be eight months away, but fans of the game are still begging for more details about BioWare's next big project. Tons of new details arrived during E3 2018 and smaller pieces of information have continued to stream out since then, thanks to Executive Producer Mark Darrah's active Twitter account.

Mark Darrah's latest impromptu Anthem Q&A was a short one, but did reveal a very interesting piece of information. When asked if rain would impact how long a javelin could stay in the air, Darrah seemed to suggest that the weather will impact the overheat timer.

Here's a look at the exchange...

For those who are unaware, flight in Anthem is limited because of the heat that the javelin suit produces when in the air. To stay in the air, players need to cool down the engines by flying under a waterfall, under a body of water, or just landing for a few seconds to cool down. Based on Darrah's response, it sounds like that time limit may be reduced when the engines are being cooled by falling rain water.

This is yet another detail that seems to add to the incredibly rich world of Anthem. It sounds like players are going to uncover tons of little tricks like this that make the environment feel more real and interesting. There will definitely be more details slowly arriving in the months before the title launches, so be sure to check back for updates.

Anthem is currently scheduled to release on February 22, 2019 for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
