With Anthem only a couple months away, BioWare is letting fans in on some more details about how the upcoming sci-fi shooter will work. While some members of the development team have discussed features like the loot rarity system and customization, the studio has been rather quiet about the game’s story length. Recently, however, two BioWare developers took to Twitter to provide a little insight into what players can expect.

It seems that story information is still one critical detail about Anthem that the developers at BioWare are keeping close to their chests. When asked about the length of the game’s story, two different Anthem developers noted that, while there is a lot to do, play times will vary based on how fast players want to burn through the story. While both developers said that there is plenty to do, neither gave solid numbers as to how long players can expect the game to be.

With Anthem’s VIP demo just around the corner, Gamble also gave fans some insight into how far players can expect to get during the demo. While players will be able to experience levels 10 to 15, the progress in the demo will not carry over to the full game when it launches in February. However, the demo will allow players to try out the various activities that Anthem has to offer, from missions and free roam to exploring Fort Tarsis. Players will also be able to tackle one of the game’s strongholds that are designed as endgame activities.

Players that want to get in on the VIP demo will have to pre-order the game and tie it to their EA account. The VIP demo kicks off January 25 through January 27, just a tad bit earlier than the public demo. The open public demo starts February 1 and runs through February 3. While there will be some missions in the demo, fans will likely have to wait until the game launches to unravel the mysterious story that BioWare was written.

Anthem launches February 22 for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
