Before E3, BioWare's Anthem was looked upon with a dubious eye by many gamers. After getting a good look at the game's E3 trailer and demo though, much of that doubt has turned to outright excitement. In the days and weeks since finally giving players a much more solid idea of what exactly the title will be, Bioware has been hard at work expanding on details provided at the show.

Most of it has been additional information about the game, but BioWare has also taken time to give fans a look at what goes into promoting something like Anthem. In the case of the newest piece of Anthem content, the spotlight is on the Javelin suits seen walking around at E3. As one might expect, building a Javelin suit is no easy feat.

One has to admire the skill and dedication that went into creating each of these suits. Not only did Henchmen Studios have to painstakingly paint their creations in a way that made them look like they just leapt out of the game, they also had to figure out how to replicate the way they move. It seems the hard work paid-off in spades too. Not only are they impressive to outside fans, but it seems Anthem's art director, Derek Watts, was very happy with the suits too. "The work that went into those things, it just kept getting better every single week we saw it," said Watts.

Henchmen Studios created one suit for each of the four Javelins shown in action during the E3 demo: Ranger, Storm, Colossus, and Interceptor. These aren't the only suits available in Anthem, as players will be able to unlock several Javelins during their time in the game. They are just more or less the face of the game at the moment. As difficult as this video makes the creation process out to be, the fact that Henchmen Studios was tasked to create all four suits could be taken as further proof of BioWare's commitment to Anthem as a cooperative experience.

While BioWare has promised that Anthem will have some single player moments, just about everything else the studio has said about the game backs up the idea that its a cooperative experience first. The developer has already announced that all content will have matchmaking, so it sounds like it has the necessary structure in place to support that experience. Now BioWare just need to make sure Anthem's world is compelling enough to keep players engaged.

Anthem will release on February 22, 2019 for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
