A digital artist known as César did a live-action recreation of Paul Rudd's Ant-Man to look like the version in the recently released What If? zombie episode. What If? follows the Watcher, the one who sees all and is able to watch over multiple never-ending possible realities. The Watcher is not allowed to interfere with any of the realities and is only able to observe.

What If...? offers endless possibilities, as it shows alternate versions of the stories that fans are familiar with from the MCU movies. For example, one of them told the story of what would happen if Peggy Carter got the super-soldier serum instead of Steve Rogers and became Captain Carter. Another episode showed what would happen if T'Challa became Star-Lord instead of Peter Quill, while another presented a world in which the Avengers were killed before they could assemble.

The artist's (@elilusionista.cl) work revolved around Paul Rudd's Ant-Man in the zombie-themed episode of What If...?, who had the funny-looking glass-shaped helmet and Doctor Strange's cape to prop him up. This new look for Ant-Man was due to the zombie outbreak, which rendered him without a body as a result of Vision's experiments in search of a cure. César's artwork is very similar to the show's rendition of Ant-Man and looks as if it were a legitimate piece of concept art from Marvel itself. The artist is known for doing many pieces of digital art, which includes a live-action version of another character who appeared in the zombie episode, Steve Rogers/Captain America. What If...? has been doing well by offering fans a lot of cool moments and characters, including a very less evil version of Thanos.

The artist's page has plenty of other artwork, including Chadwick Boseman's Black Panther, a zombie version of Wanda Maximoff, Doctor Octopus battling Spider-Man, and even work for Shang-Chi. Make sure to check out their work for anyone who is a fan of Marvel or artwork in general.

There's a comic book series titled What If? that delves into stories that have yet to be touched on this season, as they're taking creative freedom with the stories they decide to tell, which may be a good thing because it offers a lot less predictability for fans. This serves as a healthy medium of giving both comic book fans and lovers of the live-action movies what they want to see. Thus far, What If...? episodes share a common theme of grief, which fans of all stripes can resonate with.

What If...? is currently streaming on Disney Plus.
