New Horizons has well and truly taken the spotlight in the past few months, with Animal Crossing fans ogling over countless beautiful island designs. Players have spent hours creating outdoor cafes, libraries, and other areas for their villagers to interact with. What many people seem to have forgotten is how Pocket Camp began setting the stage for these immersive, creative designs back when it launched in 2017.

Pocket Camp has been offering updates and events consistently for years, appealing to dedicated collectors with a seemingly limitless range of exclusive furniture and items. Some of these furniture series put even New Horizons to shame, with the best of the best providing the most precious villager interactions.

10 Dreamy Pastels Series

Pocket Camp has introduced a lot of adorable furniture series, but the Dreamy Pastels takes cuteness to the extreme. The cotton candy-like clouds and softly glowing stars make any area feel like a saccharin dream, and the villagers will be sure to agree. Most of the reactions to this furniture series involve villagers lying down for a quick nap, or curling up with their favorite book.

The Dreamy Pastels Series was available for a limited time as part of the "Stella's Sleepy Cookie" event. Some of the more common rewards during this event include the Dreamy Unicorn Plushie and Dreamy Pastel Lamp, while the moon-like Dreamy Floating Lounge had only a 3% chance of appearing.

9 Fashion Design Studio Series

There's a decent variety of textile and craft related items to be found in New Horizons, but players wanting to create a fabric wonderland may be better off downloading Pocket Camp. They'll need to be quick, though – the Fashion Design Studio Series is part of the "Vesta's Chic Cookie" event, which is available from March 25th until June 22nd, 2020.

The full set includes dress forms, a samples rack, fabric roll rack, and, of course, a sewing machine. The rarest item available is the massive 8x6 Fashion Studio Loft, where villagers can sit and sketch out some chic designs.

8 Old-Timey Town Series

Introduced as part of the "City Slickin' with Kicks" event, the Old-Timey Town Series feels like it's been pulled straight from a Sherlock Holmes novel. Stand out items include the flower-covered Town Square Fountain, Flower Wagons, and Phone Boxes. These items could be used to suit any theme, from a marketplace to a florist, making them essential furniture for Pocket Camp fans.

Unlike most special event furniture series, players don't need to eat fortune cookies in the hopes of randomly receiving each piece. "City Slickin' with Kicks" introduced Cityflitters, a new type of creature that spawns in Pocket Camp gardens, and players much catch these strange butterflies if they want to obtain the Old-Timey furniture.

7 Grandiose Series

This set appeared as part of the "Tia's Rosewater Cookie" event, and Tia seems like the perfect villager to represent this furniture. The adorable elephant is designed to resemble a delicate teapot, and her refined, elegant character is captured by the Grandiose Series' pink canopy bed and stately candelabra.

The most striking item, the Grandiose Bath, was once again the hardest to obtain with just a 3% chance of appearing. First released in late 2018, this series was actually reissued in April of 2019, giving hope to players who have missed out on some of these limited releases.

6 Artisanal Bakery Series

Sleepy-eyed Beau is undoubtedly one of the most popular Animal Crossing characters, so it's exciting to see him get the recognition he deserves with this incredibly detailed furniture series. Available from August to November in 2019, this set contains everything Beau needs to run his bakery, including numerous displays, an oven, and seating for all the other villagers.

Villagers will interact with this furniture by choosing out a pastry, waiting to be served, and even running the counter. Given the similarity between Beau's Bakery Oven and the brick oven available in New Horizons, players could easily take inspiration from this series to design a quaint cafe room.

5 Beach Trip Series

Like the Grandiose Series, this tropical set was popular enough to be briefly reissued after its original event ended, and it's easy to see why. Offering a Surfboard Screen, Summer Beach Table, and even palm trees, players can pair the Beach Trip series with a seaside campsite terrain to be holiday-ready in no time.

This series made its debut with the "Roald's Beach Cookie" event, named for the lovable blue penguin villager. Considering the deserted island theme of New Horizons, it's a shame that furniture like this isn't available in the Switch game.

4 Fay Series

The Dreamy Pastels series may be the sweetest in Pocket Camp, but the Fay furniture set takes the prize for most magical. Players can decorate their campsite with enormous sweet peas, daisies, leaves, and dandelions, transforming villagers into delicate little fairies. Coupled with iridescent fairy wings that come with the series, players have something truly adorable on their hands.

The Fay Series is enhanced even more by the villager interactions it offers. The huge Fairy Jar gives them a terrarium-like place to sit, while the Giant Fairy Flowers lets them use the fairy wing accessories to flutter about in the sky.

3 Off-Hours Cafe Series

Isabelle is undoubtedly a hardworking pup, sometimes surviving on just an hour's sleep, so it's about time she received some recognition. Of course, she did have the honor of joining the Super Smash Bros. roster, but this Isabelle-themed Pocket Camp furniture series seems like a more fitting reward.

Released as part of the Isabelle's Cafe Cookie event, this set includes a kettle, table, rocking chair, and even a space heater styled after Isabelle's summer uniform in New Leaf. There's also a mug shaped like Isabelle's head that would surely fly off the shelves if Nintendo ever released it as physical merch.

2 Lavish Ball Series

This stunning series was introduced in the "Skye's Lavish Ball Cookie" event, named for the normal blue wolf villager. The Striking Clock Balcony, Lavish Carriage Couch, and Glass-Slipper Stand make some pretty clear references to Cinderella, and the sheer elegance of this set could make any villager feel like a princess.

Perhaps the most important part of the Lavish Ball Series is the Light-Blue and Deep-Blue Dance Floor items. Pairs of villagers will interact with these items by slowly waltzing together, which is no doubt the most precious thing they can do at a campsite.

1 Serene Hotspring Series

The cypress bathtub and outdoor bath are among the most sought-after items in New Horizons, making the perfect foundations for a hot spring area or zen garden on an island. But they suffer from one major problem – players and their villagers cannot go into the baths to relax, but Pocket Camp's Serene Hotspring series solves this issue.

There are few concepts more idyllic than soaking in a hot spring with some animal friends while plum blossoms bloom on the trees. The "Chevre's Serene Cookie" event makes these dreams come true, offering three types of baths, bamboo fences and walkways, and a sakura-shaped stone pathway.
