Since the most recent iOS update, users can now customize their home screen layouts for Apple mobile devices in more specific ways. Many users have gotten creative with their phone's home screen aesthetics and have shared them online. One such user decided to share the icons she created in the style of Animal Crossing: New Horizons.

This user took to Twitter to share her Animal Crossing: New Horizons designs, and the post quickly racked up views on the social media site. It makes sense that the first game in the Animal Crossing series to give villagers their own cell phones, which they can use to redeem Nook Miles, access their friend list, and check which fish and bugs they've previously caught, would inspire iOS 14 home screen designs. The designer also created an expansion of an extra 23 icons that players can use to replace the initial app icons. This icon set and wallpaper is available for iOS and Android systems.

While players can now deck out their phones with this Animal Crossing theme, the iPhones that are able to run this look on their home screen will have to miss out on Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp, the mobile app. Since the application was unprepared for the update, it will take a little while longer for fans to enjoy both the Animal Crossing look and game on their Apple devices. While the update is said to be happening before the end of the month, fans of the mobile app do not have a specific date that they can expect the patch to be released.

The iOS 14 update is sparking creativity in many Apple users, and it is exciting to see what designs users come up with as more continue to update their devices. Besides Animal Crossing, users have also taken advantage of the new iOS features to reconfigure their home screens in the style of games like Persona 5, as well as many others.

Hopefully Animal Crossing players with Apple mobile devices won't have to wait long until they have an Animal Crossing-themed phone and can also play the app as well. With this icon set and wallpaper free for all fans to use, many fans have the opportunity to deck out their devices in the appearance of the Nintendo franchise.

Animal Crossing: New Horizons is available now exclusively for the Nintendo Switch.
