Animal Crossing: New Horizons' Nature Day update is here and brings tons of new activities and a couple of characters in the game. One of the newest visitors that players will encounter in the island is the gardening connoisseur named Leif, who loves all things nature except for clumps of weeds. In fact, Leif hates weeds so much that he will pay players 20 Bells to take them away, it is worth mentioning that this is double of what the Nooks pay.

Of course, given that weeds are pretty much abundant in Animal Crossing: New Horizons, it is tempting to collect them all and sell them to Leif to make a quick buck. Upon speaking to him, players can choose a dialogue option that will trigger a conversation about weeds. Leif will then mention that his offer to buy weeds will only be available for a limited time, and no one really knows if this offer will change or not and it's not impossible for him to raise the selling price of weeds before the Nature Day event draws to a close.

However, before players sell all their stocks of weeds to Leif, it is worth knowing that the Nature Day update introduces a new DIY recipe that will allow players to craft Hedge fences. This new recipe will require players to have ten clumps of weeds along with five tree branches, and two stones, so those who are interested in decorating their homes with hedge fences should save their clumps of weeds first before selling them to Leif.

Of course, deciding on what to do with weeds rests solely on the preference of the player, but selling them all to Leif may not always be the best option. Although he pays double than what the game usually offers, selling 10 clumps of weeds for 20 bells only gives players a total of 200 bells, which isn't really that much, and players would be better off utilizing those weeds to decorate their houses with a beautiful row of hedge fences.

Meanwhile, apart from the Nature Day event, the latest Animal Crossing: New Horizons update also includes a new art gallery in the game. Once players are able to unlock this new feature, the can then start donating works of art that they purchase from the traveling salesman Redd. However, players should always be vigilant from purchasing art from Redd, given that he is known for selling counterfeit art, which won't be accepted by Blathers.
