In early 2020, Animal Crossing: New Horizons hit shelves and digital storefronts right before the Covid-19 pandemic hit the United States in earnest. Following this, the game became a big hit as people tried to find new ways to interact with each other from a safe distance. Despite having been released over two years ago, Animal Crossing: New Horizons players are still finding new ways to interact with the game to this day.

Since Animal Crossing: New Horizons was released, gamers have taken to the internet to share what they have created. One Animal Crossing fan recreated the intro to The Office. Some hosted virtual weddings on the game while others, like Star Wars writer Gary Whitta, hosted his own talk show on the game. This talk show is where Captain Marvel star Brie Larson expressed her interest in playing Samus Aran from the Metroid franchise. One player, however, has opted to take the game and its colorful characters and setting in a slightly darker route.

In the past, fans have recreated Walter White's look from Breaking Bad in different video games. One, for example, recreated Walter White's look in Red Dead Redemption 2 while another did something similar in Stardew Valley. One Animal Crossing fan, however, has opted to take it a step further. In a recent post, Reddit user TonyClifton323 shared his own Animal Crossing: New Horizons version of Walter White. In addition, the player turned their house into a Heisenberg-esque meth lab.

The lab itself doesn't appear to be a recreation of any particular meth lab from Breaking Bad. The video shows various test beakers, barrels, and other pieces of science equipment that could be used for any number of things. In fact, it's very similar to a Breaking Bad meth lab created in Stardew Valley. This particular lab came with the caption "I am the one who Nooks!"

Breaking Bad was a series on AMC that aired for five seasons between 2008-2013 and is generally considered to be one of the greatest television series ever made. The producers followed the show up with a sequel film, titled El Camino, and the spinoff prequel series, Better Call Saul. Despite the series' success, a video game adaptation was never made though Breaking Bad creator Vince Gilligan tried to get a Grand Theft Auto-style game developed. For now, however, fans will have to do with recreating Walter White's meth lab in otherwise innocent settings like Animal Crossing: New Horizons.

Animal Crossing: New Horizons is available now for Nintendo Switch.
