Ever since the release of Animal Crossing: New Horizons last week, fans have been creative when it came to the game's near-endless customization options. Now, it appears that fans have taken Animal Crossing: New Horizons' outfit creation mechanic to a whole different level, by recreating looks by some of the most popular celebrities from Taylor Swift to BTS.
It appears that a good number of Swift's loyal fans are currently obsessed with Animal Crossing: New Horizons. Several Swifties have flooded Twitter, Reddit, and Tumblr with a flurry of custom made clothes inspired by the real-life merchandise of the pop star. Fans even recreated Swift's look from her "You Belong With Me" music video, while others added custom images in the game and recreated the album covers of Swift's entire discography from her self-titled record to last year's Lover.
Apart from Taylor Swift, other Animal Crossing players took the popular group BTS as inspiration for their creations. One Twitter user uploaded their recreation of the outfit of one of the group's members, complete with a leather jacket and Gucci t-shirt. These fan-made tributes that are made in Animal Crossing: New Horizons are a clear testament to how much customization the game offers, allowing players to create just about anything their heart desires.
Of course, apart from giving players that chance to design their own outfits in the game, Animal Crossing: New Horizons also gives allows players to craft their own tools, create their own furniture, and even terraform their respective islands to their liking. Additionally, the game features a multiplayer mode that allows players to play with friends and live the deserted island life together.
