Animal Crossing: New Horizons is one of the most popular and successful games of 2020. Since its release back in March of this year, Animal Crossing has captivated players all across the world. Many players have created both adorable and impressive creations within the game, but now, a talented group of players has developed a way of playing rugby in-game.
In the many months since this game first released, players from all over the globe have accomplished a lot through the use of Animal Crossing. From custom clothing to creating homages to various games and movies to even recreating scenes from Persona 5 in Animal Crossing, it has given players so much freedom of choice in how they play the game. That said, players are always finding new ways of having fun in the game.
A group of fans has developed a way of playing rugby in-game. There are already many activities for friends to do in Animal Crossing, but this group of players has created a sports field to play rugby with. However, Animal Crossing does not have any balls that can be used outside of decoration. Thus, the next logical question that most people would have is how can they play without a ball.
The answer is simple. One player wears a domed hat and doesn't move. This player represents the ball that the other players push around the field, trying to get the "ball" to the other side of the field. Players from all over the world are finding new ways of utilizing the game in fun and creative ways. In fact, Phil Spencer, the head of Xbox, was interviewed in Animal Crossing.
It's nice to see that players are able to use Animal Crossing in such interesting and entertaining ways. With the exception of Minecraft, very few other games possess the seemingly limitless creative freedom that players are given. The amount of things to do and accomplish within the world of Animal Crossing is almost unending.
It's been nearly six months since Animal Crossing first launched and players have accomplished numerous impressive feats within the game's world. Not to mention, all of the free content updates Nintendo has added to the game, such as fireworks and dream islands, that allow for even more inventive creations. It's always exciting to see what Animal Crossing players will accomplish next.
