When the Animal Crossing: New Horizons free update was released last November, a lot of new content was added into the game for players to enjoy. Nintendo not only brought two beloved Animal Crossing special villagers such as Brewster and Kapp'n, but the development team implemented new activities such as farming and cooking, as well as new furniture and household items. One fan took inspiration from one of the items introduced in the 2.0 update, the Raccoon Wall Clock, and made a real-life version of it to show off to their fellow community members.

Some fans who only started with the Animal Crossing series via New Horizons may not be familiar with the Raccoon Wall Clock. The item can only be redeemed through the Animal Crossing: New Horizons NookLink app, which can be found in the Nintendo Switch Online smartphone application. The NookLink app provides players with convenient features such as a keyboard for in-game chat plus access to their in-game catalog. However, the Raccoon Wall Clock dates back to New Leaf, where it is a limited-time item that players can redeem by connecting to the internet in the game's post office.

Showcasing their woodworking skills, Redditor Mr_Pioupiou shared a short video clip of their real-life version of the Animal Crossing Raccoon Wall Clock. The item is an actual working clock that fans can mount onto their walls, much like the wall-mounted furniture in Animal Crossing: New Horizons. Fashioned after the face of the game's favorite businessman, Tom Nook, the clock's swinging pendulum is inspired by a raccoon's fluffy tail. According to the Redditor, they had to use a special program to actually make the pendulum work properly.

The artist was asked on the Reddit thread if they were selling the wooden clock, and they answered by stating the name of their online shop. Upon checking, the Raccoon Wall Clock by Mr_Pioupiou costs 50.00 Euro or around $54 USD. Fans of the series will likely enjoy the artist's other homemade wooden pieces. They have smaller items such as badges, keychains, and earrings that feature some of the most popular villagers in Animal Crossing: New Horizons.

Though the Redditor's store is mainly in French, the shop's interface is easy to understand, and they also ship worldwide. Aside from Animal Crossing: New Horizon items, they also produce merchandise from other Nintendo series such as Kirby, Pokemon, and more. With so many options for the geek and gaming community, fans will likely find something cute and endearing from the roster of items.

Animal Crossing: New Horizons is available now on the Nintendo Switch.
