Animal Crossing: New Horizons players have had over two years to get acquainted with its world. Though each island can be shaped to a player’s desires, there are several standard locations and characters that every player will see in their playthrough. One of these memorable buildings from Animal Crossing: New Horizons, Nook’s Cranny, is the inspiration of a recent and impressive fan-made Nintendo Switch stand.

Animal Crossing: New Horizons is the latest release in the long-running Animal Crossing series. These social simulation games bring players to a world filled with anthropomorphic animals and asks them to grow their wealth by selling items at Nook’s Cranny.

This incredible build comes from u/Mr_Pioupiou, and it is immediately recognizable as Nook’s Cranny. Though they have shared previous versions of their Animal Crossing: New Horizons creation, their latest version of the Nintendo Switch stand is a borderline exact match to the fully upgraded shop that players see in the game. As such, the builder included the small horizontal window in the building’s roof, all the tiny items that players can see in the two main windows, the small wooden sign to the right of the door, and even the shipping box outside. The attention to detail in this build is incredible and, aside from being a stand for a player’s Nintendo Switch, the doors on this build also can be pulled out and used to store game cartridges.

U/Mr_Pioupiou mentions in their post that to get their design to this point, they had to invest nearly 500 hours over a period of two years. After numerous color tests and versions, they finally got this piece to the point where they were willing to share it. Those Animal Crossing: New Horizons players interested in getting this design can find it at le-coffre-a-flonflons.fr, and it is listed at 120 Euros as of this writing.

Nook’s Cranny is the only location that players can go to in order to sell their items. This leaves players with a centralized location for most of their buying and selling needs, making the game an easier journey. It is because of its importance that many players have paid homage to it with their own Animal Crossing: New Horizons tributes.

It is a bit frustrating, however, for those players who log on at times when Nook’s Cranny isn’t open. Though there is always the shipping box as an option, this only gives players part of the value they would get if the items were sold inside the store. Either way, this recreation is an impressive Nintendo Switch stand that most fans would likely love to see in their collection.
