Returning from previous Animal Crossing titles, Animal Crossing: New Horizons has the catalog, a peripheral that allows players to order furniture and clothes that they previously or currently own. This is great for players wishing to get a complete set of chairs for a table or simply want to give gifts to friends.

The catalog in Animal Crossing: New Horizons can be accessed from the Nook Stop available in the Residential Services Building. There are plenty of methods to obtain furniture, from DIY crafting to simply buying them. Here are the ways for players to fill out their catalogs.

Timmy and Tommy

The easiest way to find furniture is by visiting Nook's Cranny and buying the furniture available from Timmy and Tommy. There will be multiple random furniture items that can be purchased from them every day, as well as wallpapers and flooring that can be purchased from the back cabinet. More varieties and options will become available after the shop has upgraded, so players should stop by and at least browse every day, even if they have nothing to sell.

Nook Shopping

Another method that refreshes every day is the Nook Shopping option available from the Nook Stop. Every day there will be two random furniture items that can be ordered, as well as a random K.K. Slider song. Players should note that after ordering these items, they will not receive them until the next day in the mail.

Saharah

Saharah is a random salesperson that can appear on players' islands on any day of the week. She will wander on the island until players talk to her. After talking to her, players can buy rugs, wallpapers, and flooring from her. Players should note that what they get will be random and they can only get one flooring and one wallpaper per day. The only exception to this is if players buy enough rugs and get enough exchange tickets to get another wallpaper or flooring.

Many of Saharah's items are exclusive to her and cannot be found in Nook's Cranny or Nook Shopping, so players should take advantage if she appears on the island.

DIY

While DIY items cannot be ordered through the catalog, they do fill it out. Event items such as the Bunny Day furniture and clothing items all contribute to the overall size and can go toward getting the Nook Miles achievement for filling the catalog out.

Trees

Two random trees on players' island that aren't fruit trees will drop a random furniture item every day. The trees are different with each day, so players should shake all they can. The only trees that are an exception to this are fruit trees. Trees can also drop bells as well as dangerous wasps, so players should keep their eyes peeled.

Wisp

Animal Crossing New Horizons Wisp

This cowardly, but friendly ghost gives players rewards for finding parts of his spirit at night. He will usually give either wallpaper, flooring, or a furniture item and ask players if they want something new or expensive. Players wishing to fill out their catalogs should ask for something new, as Wisp will give players something they've never had before.

Gulliver

Gulliver is another special villager that will reward players with items after fulfilling his task. After gathering all his communicator parts, players will get an exclusive furniture or clothing item in the mail the next day as a reward.

Flick and C.J.

Players can get special rewards from Flick and C.J. after participating in Fishing Tournaments and Bug Offs. These include special furniture and clothing items, but if players bring 3 of a certain bug or 3 of a certain fish to C.J., they will get a model of the animal that can be displayed as furniture.

Balloons

Another method to get furniture is to pop balloons flying overhead with the slingshot. Now that Bunny Day is over and done with, players don't have to worry about getting Sky Eggs and are more likely to find furniture or DIY recipes inside these air-bound presents.
