Animal Crossing: New Horizon fans have been creating incredible things since the game first launched, from customized clothes and making furniture to designing their island to their specific taste. After releasing last year, Animal Crossing: New Horizons has received a decent amount of additional content. Players are given the freedom to re-create items, characters, and places from their favorite fandoms, including scenes from games like Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening.

The game has given players plenty of options to customize their private resort between seasonal items and franchise crossovers, like the Animal Crossing x Sanrio Amiibo cards. The game recently added some holiday items for the Halloween Event, which features items from last year's event and three new items. Addons like this have given players the ability to turn their islands into almost anything they want, even places from other games.

Streamer Mel, username ACNH_Barkenos, took to Twitter to show off her newest creation in Animal Crossing: New Horizons. Matching every detail up as close as she could, the streamer recreated the little house in Mabe Village, which was the first location players got to explore in Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening. In the game, this is the house where he was nursed back to health before his adventures across Koholint Island. The rendition is made complete with the character dressed up as Link, including the iconic Hyrule shield.

Mel made sure to get every detail as close as possible, including a blue butterfly in almost the exact same spot. The recreation is perfect for New Horizons since both games feature island exploration. This isn't Mel's first Animal Crossing custom design, either. The user is also a streamer who often plays Animal Crossing: New Horizons and creates amazing in-game scenes, which are then edited to wide-angle shots using Adobe Lightroom.

Re-creating scenes from other games isn't the only trend on Animal Crossing: New Horizons. With the incredible amount of customization available, players have also recreated movies scenes and even their favorite TikToks, like the "Couch Guy" trend that recently popped up on Animal Crossing. The game's popularity is based on the serenity and creativity involved in customizing the player's world and socialization with townsfolk and other players. Nintendo has continued to give fans more options for this customization feature, including Amiibo cards and in-game items to craft or purchase.

October 15th, fans will get news of the new content that will release in November. This is the first significant update since July. The Animal Crossing: New Horizons Direct presentation will include more information on what will be added alongside the highly awaited NPC, Brewster.

Animal Crossing: New Horizons is available now exclusively on Nintendo Switch.
