There are many villagers in Animal Crossing: New Horizons and the other games in the series. While many might think of more popular cat villagers like New Horizon's number one villager Raymond or Bob first, there is a very sweet villager named Lolly that deserves a second look.

Animal Crossing Lolly's Personality

Lolly (or ラムネ Ramune in the Japanese version of Animal Crossing) is a normal cat villager. Normal villagers are usually kind and friendly and will get along with just about any other villagers. The exceptions to that rule are Animal Crossing villagers with personalities that are cranky or sisterly. Lolly is an early bird; her normal rising time is 6 AM and she is very easy to befriend.

Lolly's super sweet personality is hinted at by her candy-themed names in every language; her English name "Lolly" is a shortening of the word "Lollipop." Both the Japanese and Korean names (Ramune and Saida) are based on super sweet sodas from those places. Her catchphrase is "Bonbon" which is both the French word for candy and the name of an expensive chocolate treat.

Lolly's History In Animal Crossing

Lolly has been in Animal Crossing games since nearly the beginning. She was originally added to Animal Crossing e+ as an exclusive new character and has graced such AC titles as New Horizons, New Leaf, City Folk, and Pocket Camp. While Lolly's style was all about fruity interiors and colorful spotted dresses in the beginning, her New Horizons and New Leaf homes and clothes were much more toned down, opting instead for a brown sweater for clothing and soft colors for the interior of her homes.

Lolly's Birthday And More

Lolly was born on March 27th, making her an Aries. She is a big fan of music, such a big fan in fact that she appears on the album covers of both Lucky K.K. and King K.K. songs. Lolly is a tabby cat with pale gray fur with darker gray stripes and ears. She has no visible nose, but the nose area is surrounded by white fur and her four paws are tipped in white as well. Lolly is considered one of the cutest cat villagers in the Animal Crossing series.
