It's safe to say that the Animal Crossing franchise is one of Nintendo's most popular at the moment. With Animal Crossing: New Horizons releasing in March 2020, when lock downs were beginning for most of the world, it offered an island escape that brought many new fans to the series alongside returning players. As the Animal Crossing: New Horizons continuously hit sales milestones throughout 2020 and 2021, the game created a vast and varied player base.

As the Animal Crossing games are renowned for their creativity, allowing players to create villages, towns, and homes all by their own design, a varied player base means that the latest game in the franchise has seen some truly incredible islands and creations. From fans making sprawling metropolises, to those who find inspiration in their favorite movies, TV shows, and games like one player who decided to create a recreation of Hogwarts from the Harry Potter universe. Now, one player has shown off an epic tour of their island inspired by the Jurassic Park movies.

Jurassic Park is a classic movie franchise, and with the Jurassic World series acting as a sequel/soft reboot to the franchise, many are being reintroduced to the movies that taught its audience to be very afraid of being trapped on an island with roaming dinosaurs. Animal Crossing: New Horizons player Kayla Crossing has created a crossover between the movies and the cutesy, cartoonish style that the Animal Crossing games provide. In an extended tour of the island on YouTube, viewers can see all that the Jurassic Park and Animal Crossing crossover has on offer.

There are some seriously impressive pieces created on this island, with incubation tanks where dinosaur clones are being created, to a full security room and of course plenty of dinosaur enclosures. More than just nice parks to keep dinosaurs in though, the Animal Crossing: New Horizons player has shown clear attention to detail when creating their Jurassic Park island, thinking of everything the park has in the movies and adding those minor things in.

The only unfortunate thing is that currently dinosaurs are not available in Animal Crossing: New Horizons for this player to place into the enclosures they've built. While collecting fossils is something that many Animal Crossing players enjoy, and these fossils can be placed into a museum, there are no facilities like the ones seen in many Pokemon games that can bring those fossils back to life. Perhaps there's hope for something similar in a future DLC, such as the "Happy Homes" addition that allowed further creativity for Animal Crossing: New Horizons players.

Animal Crossing: New Horizons is available on the Nintendo Switch.
