Isabelle and Tom Nook from Animal Crossing: New Horizons are returning to Build-A-Bear. The Animal Crossing plush made their Build-A-Bear debut earlier this month, but quickly they were sold out. Now, the fan-favorite villagers are making a comeback.

Animal Crossing: New Horizons's popularity over the past year has been astronomical, and therefore a plush deal with Build-A-Bear seems like a perfect match. However, almost immediately after the plush went on sale, the Isabelle and Tom Nook Build-A-Bear plush were swiped up and even scalped online; a perfect example of 2020 and 2021 retail issues. But those who are interested have an opportunity to snag either plush tomorrow.

The official Build-A-Bear Twitter page just announced earlier today that the Animal Crossing: New Horizons plush are indeed returning and that fans can join in the waiting room beginning at 9:30 am CST (10:30 am EST)/3:30 pm GMT. The sales go live a half-hour later, and fans can sign up for e-mail notifications as well.

Even with the heads up from Build-A-Bear, it may prove difficult to come home with an Isabelle or Tom Nook plush. Hopefully, Build-A-Bear is more stocked with the Animal Crossing: New Horizons toys this time around, as it is a bummer to see the plush sold out so quickly or have scalpers drive up the prices to ridiculous rates.

Animal Crossing: New Horizons was the highest-selling Nintendo Switch game of 2020, and it was not very close. The combination of the game being of high quality and the light-hearted social nature of the game during such a difficult year allowed the title to thrive. That same warm and fuzzy feeling translates perfectly to a fun-loving plush.

Animal Crossing: New Horizons is available now exclusively for the Nintendo Switch.
