One of the most wonderful aspects of Animal Crossing: New Horizons is the ability for players to show off their unique creativity in creating homes and displaying their sense of interior design. One Animal Crossing: New Horizons player took it one step further by re-creating the set of one of the most popular film franchises.

If puzzles, mazes, and avoiding destruction at every turn is something that piques interest, this room may be one to check out. Thanks in large part to the Animal Crossing: New Horizons expansion DLC, which makes it possible to edit villagers' homes, one house's interior is now an obstacle for players to figure out once they enter.

Redditor coquelicot-s took to Ankha's home to come up with a design that not only suits her character model, but is both pleasing to the eye and the nostalgic bone. Ankha, the snooty cat villager, is directly based on the Abyssinian breed of cat and portrays Ancient Egyptian qualities with both her physical attributes and attire. Due to this and the rarity of finding her, Ankha is one of the most popular characters in Animal Crossing: New Horizons. Originally her home was Egyptian-inspired, with her furniture, wallpaper, and flooring all taken from the Egyptian catalog and placed in a way that acts as a shrine to Ankha. Coquelicot-s took it upon themself to make some appropriate changes.

With the ability to add partition walls, coquelicot-s created a maze-like structure complete with Thwomp accessories, an enemy character from the Super Mario set. Upon entering Ankha's home, players must find their way around the Thwomps set up at the end of each partition wall in hopes of avoiding their demise and finding the treasures that lie ahead. Treasure chests, piles of golden blocks, and even an item set up to resemble the Chachapoyan Fertility Idol are all featured items for the player to find. While the representation of Indiana Jones in video game culture isn't uncommon, its appearance in Animal Crossing: New Horizons was appreciated by many who witnessed the project.

Past Animal Crossing titles brought to life the creativity aspect with clothing design and village construction, and as each installment hit the latest Nintendo console, new ways to engage in creation came to fruition. Players are finding many ways to showcase their interior designing talents in Animal Crossing: New Horizons, from fixing up villagers' homes to customizing their own to gain as many points from the Happy Room Academy as possible. The unlimited potential has made Animal Crossing: New Horizons one of the bestselling Switch games since launch, and with the new DLC adding an extra level of playability, its hype isn't dropping anytime soon.

.Animal Crossing: New Horizons is available now for Nintendo Switch.
