A player of Nintendo's Animal Crossing: New Horizons has recently shared how they added Fred Flintstone's prehistoric vehicle into the video game. Seemingly also a fan of Hanna-Barbera's animated sitcom, The Flintstones, the life sim player will likely amuse fellow fans on how they utilized different Animal Crossing: New Horizons custom designs to bring the iconic car to life inside the Nintendo Switch title.

Animal Crossing: New Horizons is no stranger to being combined with other animated series, movies, and video games. Many fans like to spend hours recreating their favorite video game locations in Animal Crossing: New Horizons, and some even go so far as to reproduce entire scenes from current films or iconic episodes from popular series. With players given a variety of customization options, especially since the Happy Home Paradise came out in November 2021, it is not surprising for fans to go back to their childhood roots and bring to life their favorite Hanna-Barbera cartoons in the life sim.

On Reddit, user storybrook_acnh20 shared a collage of images showing off their version of Fred Flintstone's car in Animal Crossing: New Horizons. Fellow fans may be surprised at how the Redditor recreated the vehicle in the life sim. In the photos, it seems they combined several simple Animal Crossing: New Horizons furniture items to form the shape of the car. To replicate the hooded back, they used the in-game stall item, while decorative plates with custom designs formed the wheels. The car's frame was also made by using four Wild log benches and the Redditor placed an Easter egg near the vehicle to add a prehistoric touch to the scene.

Fellow Animal Crossing: New Horizons players found storybrook_acnh20's post extremely creative, especially in the way they combined the basic items to form Fred Flintstone's vehicle. Noticing that their Animal Crossing: New Horizons villagers were dressed as Fred and Wilma, some even asked if they have the custom design code for their outfits. Others simply enjoyed the Redditor's post and the nostalgia of watching the Hanna-Barbera cartoons when they were younger.

Though there has been no news of a successor to Animal Crossing: New Horizons from the development team, the player base continues to find something new and exciting about the current title. Hopefully this kind of creativity and excitement continues, and carries through until the next video game that Nintendo will be adding to the life sim series in the future.

Animal Crossing: New Horizons is currently available for the Nintendo Switch.
