With Nintendo's Animal Crossing: New Horizons just releasing its free 2.0 update and the Happy Home Paradise DLC this November, many players have gone back to the life simulation game to explore all of the new content. One of the features that the devs decided to bring back is the series's iconic wobbly creatures called Gyroids. And now, one ACNH fan seems to have collected a number of them, placing them in a room in their island's house to create a creepy yet amazing-looking summoning circle.

For long-time fans and players, the cute Animal Crossing Gyroids are likely considered a staple in the series. In Wild World, players could gather a massive number of 127 Gyroids to add to their display. In New Leaf, they are where players donated Bells to construct town modifications, or they can be found by digging up cracks on the ground. For New Horizons, the developers have given players more of a challenge to finding and collecting Gyroids, as they now have to go on one of Kappn's boat tours to get a chance to dig them up on a random island.

On Reddit, user ragepowder12 shared a video clip showing off all the Animal Crossing: New Horizons Gyroids that they found. However, they did so in a surprising manner by arranging them in a summoning circle on the floor, in the middle of a candle-lit room. In the video, while the Gyroids were happily making their cute sounds, the player turned off the lights in the room. This activated the candles on the wall and lit up the magic circle, making it look like they were doing a creepy summoning of some sort.

Many fellow ACNH players on the Reddit thread were quite surprised by the footage, indicating that they have never seen the incident happen before. The original poster clarified that to get the same effect in the room, players will have to collect two specific Animal Crossing: New Horizons furniture pieces - the Candles Wall and Magic-circle Flooring. With just how cool and interesting the combination of pieces look inside the room, many fans will likely try to replicate the effect on their own islands as well.

Besides the comeback of Gyroids on Animal Crossing: New Horizons, many features from previous games have also returned through the free update and paid DLC. This includes Brewster's cafe, and traveling with Kapp'n. With so much more to do on the island, fans will likely spend more time playing the game again, just like when it first launched in 2020.

Animal Crossing: New Horizons is available on Nintendo Switch.
