Just like past games in the series, Animal Crossing: New Horizons features a variety of seasonal events that fans of the game can take part in throughout the year. Nintendo has now pulled the curtain back on seasonal events that Animal Crossing: New Horizons players can look forward from now until June 30.

The new Animal Crossing: New Horizons events will kick off on April 23 with the Nature Day event. The Animal Crossing: New Horizons Nature Day event is the Earth Day event that was previously announced, giving players the opportunity to purchase shrubs and other specialty plants from Leif's Garden Shop. The Nature Day event will end on May 4, giving players plenty of time to complete its special Nook Miles challenges.

Then from May 1 to May 7, Animal Crossing: New Horizons players can participate in the May Day event, which will allow them to fly to special May Day Tour Island. Most players will still likely be using the game's flying services to visit friend's islands or head to a Mystery Island, but this should still prove interesting enough.

The Animal Crossing: New Horizons May events don't end there, though. From May 18 to May 31, players can look forward to International Museum Day. The International Museum Day event revolves around New Horizons' museum, as one could imagine, with players earning in-game rewards through something called a "stamp rally."

And finally, Animal Crossing: New Horizons will host a Wedding Season event from June 1 to June 30. Players will be tasked with arranging anniversary photos on Harv's Island for this particular event.

Looking ahead, Animal Crossing: New Horizons will likely feature many more events down the line. The winter months are sure to bring with it holiday-themed events, plus there will likely be a Halloween event in the game as well. Players will just have to stay tuned for more information on future Animal Crossing: New Horizons events.

In the meantime, the April 23 update that is set to start the Nature Day event will be adding even more content to the game. This includes a special museum expansion that will allow players to donate and display art, plus add new visitors that will show periodically. Datamining efforts have discovered evidence that vegetable farming will be coming at some point in the future as well, though nothing official has been announced by Nintendo in that regard.

Animal Crossing: New Horizons is out now, exclusively for the Nintendo Switch.
