Animal Crossing: New Horizons players have always been quick to show off their creativity. However, the Happy Home Paradise expansion has given Animal Crossing: New Horizons fans even more options, meaning that some truly unique ideas are being shared online.

The main hook of the Happy Home Paradise DLC is designing vacation homes. While players also build special facilities like hospitals and schools, and get access to an exclusive shop and currency, it is hard to top the fun of making a special house for a favorite villager. While the villagers do push for certain items to be included in their homes, players are free to do whatever they want beyond that - and Redditor Mipsymopsy took full advantage of this freedom.

Mipsymopsy was given the task of creating a farm-like location for the Animal Crossing: New Horizons villager Tipper, a fitting request for one of the game’s cow villagers. However, the video they shared of their vacation home may initially seem confusing to those that stumble upon it. This is because it initially looks like players are only viewing the outside of the home, waiting for the inside to be shown. However, after a few seconds, it should become clear that the house players are looking at is inside the building itself.

In the comments of the post, Mipsymopsy detailed the creation process behind this clever Animal Crossing: New Horizons decoration. As is the case with some other unique items, the prop was made by putting a few different pieces together. The center of the house is actually an Azumaya Gazebo, one of the new items that can be purchased using the game’s Nook Miles currency. The porch is made out of Storefront items, with Storefronts surrounding the Gazebo itself. The Storefronts also make up the windows of the house, as a custom paint job covers their backboards.

While the old, country-style home would have been enough on its own, the background details are what make this vacation home truly special. Some hay and pumpkins are seen alongside a rocking chair and pile of wood, while a windmill and clothesline add to the aesthetic. What truly brings it together is the choice of wallpaper, as the moving grass looks incredible. In the comments, Mipsymopsy acknowledges the similarities to The Wizard of Oz, saying that they dressed their Animal Crossing character up as Dorothy to better fit the home.

With Animal Crossing: New Horizons' 2.0 update and Happy Home Paradise DLC adding so much content to the game, it is only a matter of time before players are sharing awesome creations like this one. With so many items available, perhaps players will find a way to make another home inside a home that has an entirely different look.
