Super Mario

Given that the new Super Mario items are currently the craze in Animal Crossing: New Horizons right now, several creative players turned their islands into a Super Mario level. The latest Mario update also provided players with fill costume sets based on Mario, Luigi, Wario, and Princess Peach, allowing players to traverse their islands as their favorite character from the iconic Nintendo franchise. However, the most exciting addition in the Mario update is the new Warp Pipe item, which can be used to warp from one location to another. The best part about this content update is that the Super Mario Bros. items are not seasonal, which means players can order them from Nook Shopping and keep them forever.

Hamilton

This next recreation shows the extent of customization Animal Crossing: New Horizons brings to the table. One clever fan has successfully recreated Hamilton's entire first act, which continues to be one of the most popular musical ever. Player Guitar_Knight posted his recreation of Hamilton's first act on YouTube, and at the time of writing, the video is on track to break 500,000 views on the platform. The player was able to recreate scenes complete with costumes and set pieces. They were also able to show off the emotions and personalities of the musical's main characters via emotes and gestures available in Animal Crossing: New Horizons.

Pokemon

Given that Animal Crossing and Pokemon are both first-party games created by Nintendo, it is unsurprising that some Animal Crossing: New Horizons players utilize the game's vast array of customization options to recreate some popular locations in the Pokemon universe. On Reddit, user ACQueen48 shared their project of replicating a Pokemon Center. In their post, the user shared that they were able to recreate the Pokemon Center by creating outfits and furniture that Pokemon fans will surely be familiar with. Additionally, ACQueen48 revealed that this is not the first location from Pokemon that they were able to replicate in Animal Crossing: New Horizons. On their Instagram, they also shared recreations of the PokeMart and Professor Oak's office from Gen 1.

The Wizard of Oz

Without a doubt, The Wizard of Oz is one of the most iconic movies of all time that continues to influence modern pop culture. In a 15 minute long video on YouTube, user WilbosWorld showcased their incredible recreation of the magical world of Oz, complete with the Yellow Brick Road and the iconic outfit worn by Judy Garland on the 1939 film. Apart from their replication of some characters and set designs, WilbosWorld also showcased a recreation of the film's opening sequence.

The Simpsons

Heading into the world of television, the YouTube channel Great-Bit Arcade showcased how they were able to recreate some of the popular intros of cartoon shows. So far, the content creator was able to do shows like Gravity Falls, Adventure Time, and Phineas and Ferb. However, one of the channel's most recent recreations is the intro of The Simpsons. In the video, players will notice the details put into the recreation of The Simpsons' intro. Although it is worth noting that the video has been heavily edited to add things that are impossible to have in Animal Crossing: New Horizons, the player was still able to recreate the show's iconic family, complete with outfits that closely resemble those in the show.
