For creative players, no game is as engaging as Animal Crossing: New Horizons. While much of the game might be about grinding to make money and eventually build a better island, there's so much freedom to create just the kind of house or island getaway the player wants.

That also includes designing the kind of clothing they want using the design tool which can be purchased early in the game from the Nook Stop terminal. Not to worry, though: those who feel intimidated by pixel art can easily transfer some of these fan-made codes into their game once the Able Sisters shop has been set up on their island.

10 Popsicle Shirt

Starting off with something simple but really adorable is Jo's Popsicle shirt. While it's definitely one of the simpler designs out there, it's incredibly cute with its vibrant pink colors and a really well-executed Popsicle design.

This would pair up nicely with almost any kind of outfit, making it super versatile and perfect for spring and summertime, which is currently the dominant season within the game.

9 Tokyo Mew Mew Dresses

It's no surprise that a lot of fans of anime and manga would unite within the fanbase of a Nintendo game. It's why so many of these designs are inspired by Japanese culture, including these adorable Tokyo Mew Mew-inspired maid uniforms.

The collection comes with five colors, which are seen in the manga and anime itself, and the attention to detail by LucidLumi is really impressive here. Those with a plan to open a maid cafe on their island should definitely import this into their game.

8 Boho Dress

If anime looks aren't a player's thing, there are obviously hundreds upon hundreds of designs that showcase a much different style. For instance, this cute boho-style dress is actually done on a kimono template, and it looks truly fabulous.

Solina did a wonderful job with this design, which would fit perfectly on an island with wild nature and bohemian decoration.

7 Harry Potter Uniforms

There are few places in the world that haven't been graced by Harry Potter fans. Animal Crossing, too, has become a place for players to express their love for the books and movies, particularly through these super cute Hogwarts house uniforms designed by Ivy-Cat.

The cool part is that there's a unique design for each of the four houses, so no matter which house the player represents, there's something available for everyone.

6 Rilakkuma Hats

Back to cute pastel styles, if the hats included in the game just aren't doing it, worry not, because Melinda has designed these absolutely adorable caps in two different color sets. For pastel lovers, the Korilakuma is perfect, while the Rilakkuma hat is ideal for fans of earthy tones.

Fans of these two brands will definitely appreciate having items like these in the game, and given just how close these look to the real deal, it would be a shame to pass up on them.

5 Rainy Day Look

Occasionally on every island the sunny days will be replaced by rainy or overcast days. Even in Animal Crossing the weather can't always be perfect, and that's just a fact. Luckily, there are all sorts of cute clothing designs to prepare oneself for days like these, courtesy of Blossom.

This bright yellow raincoat with a striped dress underneath is a great mood booster on those rainy island days. Not just that, it looks really cute and vibrant.

4 Cool Hoodies

Most Animal Crossing clothing is insanely cute, and that's fine. However, for those wanting a cooler and tougher look, there are also plenty of outfits and designs to choose from. One creator in particular had just the right idea on what to make and how to present their wares.

Theglowingmonkey made a whole collection of these sporty and cool hoodies that anyone can rock in Animal Crossing. Who said island life has to be all about cute and pastel?

3 Bow Dress

Alright, back to cute again. The dress template in Animal Crossing with puffy sleeves is one of the most adorable ones available, which is why it's hard to resist designs like this by Anna. This brown doll-like dress combines a warm chocolate color with light pink and creamy white.

The details are really well executed, giving the dress a believable, three-dimensional depth. The best part has to be the heart in the back of the dress, and the straps that give it the rustic, dolly look.

2 Burberry

There's a lot of real-life fashion to look to for inspiration, including high-end brands which can be recreated pretty easily. The timeless Burberry pattern, for instance, looks just as fancy in Animal Crossing as it does in reality, as proven by Jihyun's full on outfit.

The pattern is gorgeously made and has a very clear appearance in the game. The outfit itself is simple yet the perfect combination that'll look good without being too much.

1 Sailor Uniform

An island getaway should have some sailor themes, other than Gulliver getting washed up on the shore on a regular basis. Thankfully, Orumtbh graced fellow players with this very fitting sailor outfit that would put Gulliver's uniform to shame.

It pairs perfectly with the sailor hat as well, and there's really no excuse not to wear this sailor costume, especially for seaside photo-ops like this one.
