For players of Animal Crossing: New Horizons, having some of the game's beloved villagers living on their island is one of the major incentives for them to keep playing the life sim title. With over 400 villagers mixed across eight different personality types in Animal Crossing New Horizons, daily interactions can be quite unique and entertaining. Recently, one ACNH fan has shared that they have produced physical dioramas of their favorite villagers, and each of these displays has said villager cutely positioned in front of their island homes.

When Animal Crossing: New Horizons first launched in 2020, fans of the series likely could not wait to know which villagers were making a comeback. ACNH brought back many of the community's favorites and even introduced new ones like Animal Crossing's heterochromatic smug cat villager Raymond, snooty bear cub Judy, preppy wolf villager Audie, and more. In November's free content update 2.0, nine new villagers were added into the already large roster. These gave fans a lot of different villagers to choose from, whether they were looking for a particular personality or aesthetic that would fit the theme of their deserted island getaway.

On Reddit, user effy2763 posted a short video that showed off their handcrafted dioramas of some villagers from Animal Crossing: New Horizons. The clip featured two new villagers from the 2.0 update, Sasha and Shino. Sasha is seen in front of his yellow-roofed modern home, while Shino poses in front of her Japanese-inspired home in a cherry blossom-themed diorama. In the latter part of footage, returning villager Marshal is featured sitting in front of his cute neutral-colored hut. The artist shared that they made these dioramas because Sasha, Shino, and Marshal are their favorite villagers.

According to the Redditor, they manually print and build these dioramas by hand. Comments on the thread asked if the artist sold these displays, and effy2763 shared a link to their online shop called ConsoleCubes. The artist also mentioned that they do custom orders, so Animal Crossing: New Horizons fans can commission them to produce dioramas of their chosen villager. Each diorama starts at $45 CAD, roughly $37 USD. The Redditor also makes dioramas for other video games such as farming sim Stardew Valley and Pokemon, as well as anime series like Sailor Moon.

Effy2763's Animal Crossing: New Horizons dioramas are one of the many ways that fans can display their favorite villagers in their own home. Hopefully, the artist will also produce dioramas of the other characters such as special villagers like Isabelle, Tom Nook, and Blathers.

Animal Crossing: New Horizons is available now on the Nintendo Switch.
