In Animal Crossing: New Horizons, a new currency is introduced called Nook Miles. This currency can be used to buy unique items or Nook Miles Tickets, special tickets that allow the player to fly to Nook Miles islands, randomly generated islands with resources, critters, and potential villagers, waiting to be brought home.

With the huge number of Nook Miles tasks available, it can be hard to differentiate which ones are easy and serve as quick cash-grabs, and which will make the player grind them out. This list serves to explain the top 10 easiest tasks, excluding all single-tiered tasks (one level before full completion).

10 Bell Ringer

Bell Ringer is a task that requires the player to spend bells (the game's main currency) at Nook's Cranny (or to the Nooklings if Nook's Cranny has not yet been unlocked). The rewards for this task are 300, 500, 1000, 2000, and 3000 Miles, in the order of ascending difficulty.

This task is easy because it can be achieved through playing the game normally, as both the making and spending of bells are integral to the gameplay. This task ranks lower on this list due to the amount of time it takes the player to spend 5 million bells at Nook's Cranny, as there are only a few, limited, expensive items available a day.

9 Flea Flicker

Flea Flicker is a task that requires the player to catch the fleas that can occasionally be seen jumping around on the island's villagers (this can be done with a net, like any other bug). The rewards for this task are 300, 500, and 1000 Miles per level.

This is an easy task because a villager with fleas can be easily spotted, they can also recur often enough to not be too much of a hassle. The player is also only required to catch a total of 10, meaning even if they are unlucky it does not require too many encounters.

8 Growing Collection

Growing Collection is a task that requires the player to catalog items in the game (done by purchasing/picking them up). The rewards for this task are the standard 300, 500, 1000, 2000, and 3000 Miles, in their ascending order of difficulty.

This task is made easier because this is a task that can be achieved by just playing the game, and has a relatively low final level count, especially when compared to some of the other tasks the player is given in the game.

7 Good Things in Store!

Good Things in Store tasks the player with storing items inside of their house's built-in storage space (automatically installed in any house and increases in size as the house is upgraded). The rewards for this task are 300, 500, 2000, 3000, and 5000 Miles, in order.

This task is easy because it is another task that can be completed by simply playing the game. The reason this task places higher than the previous is that it also requires house upgrades from the player to have the required amount of storage.

6 Shop To It

Shop to It is a task that requires the player to purchase items from the Nook Shopping service (available on the ABD or Nookphone after 100 items are purchased). The rewards for this task are 300, 500, 1000, 2000, and 3000 Miles per level.

This is an easy task because it only requires that the player buy a total of 200 items through the Nook Shopping site/app. The only thing that makes this task difficult is the number of bells that it can potentially cost (depending on the player's choice of items) and that the player can only buy a max of 5 items per day.

5 Have A Nice DIY!

Have a Nice DIY is a task that requires the player to learn DIY recipes, one of the new mechanics introduced in this installment being crafting items from DIY recipes. The rewards for this task are 300, 500, 1000, 2000, and 3000 Miles, in ascending order.

This task is made easy as the number of DIY recipes to learn barely even dents the total number available to the player (which is expanding with each event and update to the game) as it is one of the game's core mechanics.

4 Trashed Tools

Trashed Tools is a task that requires the player to break their tools (which is done by using them a certain amount of times). The rewards for this task's completion are 300, 500, 1000, 2000, and 3000 Miles per level.

This is an easy task due to the mechanics of the game. Flimsy tools break after only 30 uses, making them the best option for players trying to farm the achievement, however, this task is still easy to complete through the standard gameplay that is offered to the player.

3 Clam and Collected

Clam and Collected is a task that requires the player to collect clams that can be found by digging the spots on the beach that spurt water. The rewards for completing this task are 300, 500, 1000, 2000, and 3000 Miles, similar to many of the other tasks.

This is one of the easier tasks because this is a task many players are recommended to complete if they want to catch many fish to make bells or fill out their Critterpedia and museum. This is because clams have the incredible use of being crafted into fish bait (once the DIY recipe is obtained), making them an insanely valuable item to collect.

2 Tomorrow's Trees Today

Tomorrow's Trees Today is a task that requires the player to plant trees on their island. The rewards for this task are 300, 500, and 1000 Miles, in ascending order.

This task is quite easy to complete because the player only needs to plant a relatively low amount of 30 total trees, compared to some of the above tasks, requiring hundreds of repetitions to progress levels. Tree saplings are relatively cheap and can be used in a myriad of ways, giving them both practical and aesthetic reasons for planting.

1 Shrubbery Hubbubbery

Shrubbery Hubbubbery is a task that requires the player to plant shrubs on the island (a feature introduced in the Nature Day update). The rewards for this task are 300, 500, and 1000 Miles, in their respective order.

This is the easiest task in the game because the player has to plant such a low amount (only 20 total) of shrubs to complete the final level, with the shrubs being insanely cheap, flowering in specific seasons and small making it easy to accidentally plant many more than 20.
