Many have used Animal Crossing: New Horizons for unique content, and one player decided to recreate the opening credits of Chainsaw Man. The ongoing anime is produced by Mappa Studios, the same studio behind Attack on Titan and Jujutsu Kaisen.

Released on 2020 for the Nintendo Switch, Animal Crossing: New Horizons allows players to customize their avatars and islands, while also interacting with the adorable NPCs. Players can also add friends, visit their islands, and share resources, as well as assets for items (clothing or furniture) they customized in-game.

Thanks to its expansive customization, players have become inspired to create attention-grabbing islands in Animal Crossing: New Horizons. In the case of Japanese YouTuber イヨくんの【あつ森アイランド】, they did the whole Chainsaw Man opening credits in the game. They made avatars fashioned after the anime's main characters, Denji (in human and Chainsaw Devil form), Makima, Aki, Power, and Pochita. In one scene, they used an oversized Isabelle to play a devil. They also recreated the locations featured in the minute-long opening. To top it off, they used the opening song "KICK BACK" by Kenshi Yonezu.

The original Chainsaw Man opening caught fans' attention in the past for referencing iconic scenes from films like Pulp Fiction, No Country For Old Men, and Constantine. This is why fellow Animal Crossing: New Horizons players were equally impressed by the YouTube video. In the comments, the YouTuber's received praises for their cute Chainsaw Man rendition. As of writing, the video already raked in over 221,000 views.

Despite how gruesome Chainsaw Man is, the YouTuber managed to create an almost accurate video using cute elements, and with minimal blood shown. This isn't the first time a player used a devil or demon theme for their Animal Crossing: New Horizons content. One recently recreated the iconic The Exorcist scene where Regan projectile-vomits all over a priest while she's being possessed.

It's been two years since Animal Crossing: New Horizons came out, but the game seems to be going strong. Players could still find something new to do and make in the game, resulting in some incredible island creations. The continued popularity has not gone in vain as Animal Crossing: New Horizons recently dethroned Pokemon as Japan's best-selling game. With Nintendo consistently updating the game and adding new content, it might take a while before the hype would slow down. Unless, of course, Nintendo would suddenly come out with a new Animal Crossing game.

Animal Crossing: New Horizons is available now, exclusively for the Nintendo Switch.
